I'm on Twitter a lot. I've never seen an ad for those companies. Now to be fair I don't know that I could tell you who I do see ads for because you're scrolling so fast I hardly notice them.

Yep….I'm pretty good at ignoring the ads too. I'm sure they are somehow connected to scrolling habits.

I use Twitter on my phone most of the time…but when I'm on my laptop I do notice more ads.

I have used Twitter on a desktop 1 time…because I needed to reset the password for my phone app lol

Although I really try to stay off it, that has been my take - they seemed (pre-musk) to tolerate all kinds of vitriol and hate as long as it was directed at conservatives, Republicans, Christians, etc., but any perceived slight by a snowflake would get one kicked off the platform ... Since Trump won in 2016 Silicon Valley has colluded to down rank and deplatform many on the right. Twitter rolled out algorithms to shadow ban and not let people on the right gain followers so it essentially became a left wing echo chamber.
