I'm on Twitter a lot. I've never seen an ad for those companies. Now to be fair I don't know that I could tell you who I do see ads for because you're scrolling so fast I hardly notice them.

Yep….I'm pretty good at ignoring the ads too. I'm sure they are somehow connected to scrolling habits.
I use Twitter on my phone most of the time…but when I'm on my laptop I do notice more ads.

Twitters banning practices were always about simple censorship of ideas and people that Liberals do not like.
On twitter you had to walk a very tight rope when holding views that were even slightly right of center....but avowed Marxists, communists, and left wing fanatics of all kinds were openly tolerated.
Elon Musk has come out and said that everyone will now be equally tolerated, regardless of political views, so long as they do not threated/advocate for violence or post porn.
