Simone Biles withdraws from individual gymnastics competition.
Social media praises her as "heroic" for quitting. This will be the new media talking point - are athletics too much pressure for our kids?
Do you have a problem with it? Reminds me of all those that think they are entitled to watching NCAA athletes play without pay. What these athletes choose is alright with me. I'm disappointed, sure, but go team USA.
Yeah..........like athletes are always right.
If this is a mental breakdown she should never have gotten on the plane. She knew. She knew. Her handlers knew she was not all in. Just like Dr. Jill Biden knows. She knew and knows it won't end well for Old Joe. It's embarrassing that family will go along with this. At least she will be 1st Lady for a while!
Politics aside, how do you know that Biles knew she'd withdraw before she got on the plane? Seems like bs, but what do I know, you're probably her BFF.
You misunderstand. As usual.
Competitive athletes, particularly Olympic caliber, know if their "mind is right" or not. There can be no doubt. At that level, on that stage, there should be no doubt or hesitation. With a single point or a fraction of a point separating places you have to be 100% locked, loaded and ready.
I simply suggest there was doubt and it did not hit her yesterday.
