Around the Big 12: Baylor moves into 2nd place behind Texas

The Longhorns remain first in the 2023 Big 12 standings this week and sit 3rd nationally behind Notre Dame and Ohio State. Baylor was able to jump Texas Tech for second overall in the Big 12.

During a 24-hour span last week, Kansas was able to add two linebackers, Logan Brantley and Lorenzo McCaskill.

Brantley, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, is a 2023 three-star prospect from Englewood, CO. He held 14 offers, but chose the Jayhawks over Washington State, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, and more.

McCaskill, 6-foot-2, 210-pounds, transferred to Kansas from Louisiana.
