TCU 37 at Oklahoma 31

Both of these teams are still fighting for a chance to make it to the Big 12 Championship so there is a lot on the line. Chandler Morris and Dillon Gabriel each throw for 350 yards and three touchdowns as they lead their offense to productive days. The defenses struggle in large part but each squad does come up with a couple turnovers and are able to create negative plays unfortunately the explosives hit both teams hard. Oklahoma takes a 31-30 lead with just five minutes left in the game which is far too much time. Morris guides the Frogs down the field with a couple third down conversions. He hits JoJo Earle on a 35-yard touchdown pass with just two minutes remaining as Earle gets behind the defense. Gabriel gets the ball back with a chance to win the game but he is stripped on a 4th and 8 from the TCU 25 which ends the comeback chance.

Texas Tech 30 at Texas 37

The Red Raiders come into Austin and push the Longhorns to the brink in the final game of the regular season. Tech gets off to a 14-3 start and hold a 23-17 lead at half but Texas figures things out defensively in the second half as they force two turnovers and completely shut down the Tech run game. Quinn Ewers throws for 200 yards in the second half alone as the Longhorns take the lead in the 4th and the defense holds onto it. Texas is heading to the Big 12 Championship Game.

Iowa State 20 at Kansas State 44

The Wildcats put the Cyclones out of their misery finally. The gambling scandal destroyed the offense this season and forced young players into action before they were ready. That rears it’s ugly head one final time as Kansas State blows out Iowa State in Farmageddon which sends the Wildcats back to the Big 12 Championship Game.

West Virginia 17 at Baylor 34

The Mountaineers have had a better year than many expected but they still are just an average to below average team and now they have to go on the road to face a reeling Baylor squad. The Bears need this one to keep a very good season together and they do it behind a strong running day and a solid performance by Blake Shapen. The defense gets five sacks and forces two turnovers which helps Baylor win comfortably at home.

Kansas 30 at Cincinnati 28

The Jayhawks go on the road in a tough environment and get pushed to the brink as the Cincy front seven make things tough early and often. The Bearcats hold Kansas under 150 yards of total offense and force three turnovers in the first half as they take a 21-10 lead. But in the second half the Cincy offense completely implodes with two turnovers and zero 3rd down conversions. As a result the Jayhawks get the ball back quick and take advantage of short fields. Ultimately Jalon Daniels makes enough plays to push Kansas to a lead and eventually the win.

BYU 17 at Oklahoma State 20

This isa defensive battle from start to finish as neither team puts up over 300 yards of total offense. Both teams struggle to pass the ball so it becomes a matchup between rushing attacks. Both Aidan Robbins and Ollie Gordon carry their respective offenses but Oklahoma State’s defense makes a couple more plays at home as the Cowboys finish the regular season strong.

Houston 13 at UCF 41

No chance here for the Cougars as they have pretty much given up on the season. Meanwhile UCF continues a strong first season in the Big 12 as the offense gets rolling in Orlando with a very good mixture of run and pass. Easy win here for the Knights.
