Championship Game: Baylor vs. Notre Dame Preview & Game Thread

The reason everyone plays the game arrives Sunday April 7 in Amalie Arena. The Baylor Lady Bears will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a battle between two of the top programs over the past 15 years. Both have two national titles during that time and this will be a game of strength on strength in the paint and perimeter. Baylor is 36-1 and Notre Dame is 35-3 on the season with Baylor having a 28 game winning streak and Notre Dame with a 14 game winning streak on the line.

Once a 17-point lead for the Baylor Lady Bears. Now a tie score at 74-all with 4:55 to play in the 4th Quarter. It's going to take intestinal fortitude for the Lady Bears to win w/o Lauren Cox. Kalani Brown, Chloe Jackson, and Nylyssa Smith will have to make the clutch baskets down the stretch.
