No. 17 Baylor (5-2) cruises to a comfortable victory against New Orleans (2-5). After a couple days off for Thanksgiving, the Bears gear up for a big road test at UCONN on December 4th.
No. 13 Baylor builds too big of a deficit against No. 11 Tennessee (47-20) in the first half. The Bears fought hard in the second half behind a combined 42 points from Norchad Omier and VJ Edgecombe but Tennessee ends up defeating the Bears by 15.
No. 12 Baylor (4-1) gets some three point heroics from Jeremy Roach at the buzzer to beat No. 22 St. John's (4-1) 99-98 in double OT. The Bears will play in the championship game tomorrow night around 8:30pm CST.
No. 12 Baylor (3-1) throttles Tarleton State (1-4) 104-41. The Bears were led by Jalen Celestine's 20 points off the bench. Baylor heads to the Bahamas this week to face St. John's and play another game against either Tennessee or Virginia.
No. 12 Baylor (2-1) gets double figures scoring from seven different players and dominates the glass (42-21) en route to a 104-67 win over Sam Houston State (1-2). Next up for the Bears is a game against Tarleton State (0-3) Sunday November 17th at 7pm CST in Foster Pavilion.
No. 8 Baylor (1-1) used a zone, steady guard play and a double double from Norchad Omier (15 points and 12 rebounds) to stymie No. 16 Arkansas (1-1) 72-67. Next up for the Bears is the home opener against Sam Houston in Waco Tuesday night.
#6 Gonzaga (1-0) rolls #8 Baylor (0-1) 101-63 in the opening game for the Bears 2024-25 basketball season. Lots to work on to get ready for Arkansas Saturday November 9th at American Airlines Center.
