That would make 4 straight losses. Will the team be able to stay together mentally?

After that it does get more doable. But if our defense can't get several things fixed I don't think it will matter.
So you don't expect to beat what you call good teams?


If you think I am fine with what we've seen this year you are misreading my post.

The post I was responding to mentioned that we would soon start facing less difficult opponents. That's what I was responding to.
The issue is Dave finds ways to lose.. even against absolute scrubs like Houston and KU. Its a very bad bet to believe he can beat anyone right now. The program is soft and the mentality is weak. And yes you are right, even a below average coach would find 6 wins with this schedule. The point makes sense but you're underestimating Dave's issues.

Well I hope they find the money to allow the Bears to field a new winning coach but I'm not counting on it.

If I was a big money donor and they came to me for help it would be a hard pass, all my money would go to Scott Drew.

Recruiting. Identifying talent that can best serve your team needs. Two different things. Mack Brown "recruited" well in his later years at Texas. It got him fired

There are a good number of people in leadership who think Baylor has grown too large and would like to downsize. They would not mind that scenario at all.

Tcu and Houston are not good football teams, but Dave has nearly no shot. Tcu is close to quitting and showed weak effort yesterday but has decent players. Houston barely has an ounce of talent but plays hard and is very well coached.

To be perfectly honest, I don't if ANYTHNG gets the attention of this administration. After allowing Aranda back this year, I gave up on them.

Should have been fired after Air Force but even if someone wants to make a tragically stupid statement that Air Force was good, that's air quotes around "good for a service academy".
Worst case
Should have been shown the door after Texas State.
