Frankly, I hope Kiffin stays and shakes up the power structure in the SEC. Miss should have the resources to support it as long as they are winning and attracting fans. Be that guy that launches a new powerhouse. That's worth more than a bigger check to some folks.

But then for a long time I didn't have a ton of respect for the guy. Winning is the best deodorant. So he will probably bail for the highest bidder.

Or just wait a year or two longer until he gets an NFL offer, if even that. He may already be getting interest behind the scenes.

This is a great representation of why this is not sustainable. Donors will get tired of paying so much for buyouts, salaries, and NIL and not getting a return on it. They will wake up and realize it isn't worth the cost. Fans will stop paying over the top prices and attendance will decrease at all but the most rabid schools.

Limits (salary caps), players getting paid more but coaches less, and player contracts have to be put in place.

I have seen multiple articles and Saban talked about it on game day this morning on how he should stay and if he keeps performing as he is he can leave a legend when he retires, get the stadium or something named after him, a statue, and have a LEGACY that these "guns for hire" that jump from school to school will never have.

Nick Rolovich is a good coach. Cal is lucky to have the next man up in their front office. He was one of the guys I was thinking we should have interviewed when we should have fired Dave last year.

Assuming these reports are accurate, Alex Golesh is a liar and a douchebag. Repeatedly claimed he wasn’t “chasing a job” and that he was “100% focused on this team.” He wasn’t. And we saw the consequences in conference.
