Yep. Malakoff has been really good for the last several years. They lost to Grandview in that state championship game, but it was a really good game - tied going into the 4th qtr. I saw them beat Brock to get to the state championship game in 2018. They're really good.
Mt Vernon has been through a minefield both in district and the playoffs. Malakoff will be very, very tough.

Where did Driskell come from?
I'm not sure, but that site says he was on Palestine's staff before taking over at Malakoff. He had not previously been a head coach.
