Since this is quite a long thread, I'm playing catch up. Could some share what the "timeline" for decision making regarding this players in the portal? Is it a "sign when ready" thing up to a certain date or ???

They can sign anytime. There is no timeline for someone in the portal to declare.

They have to get enrolled most will get done sometime May latest to get set up for summer stuff.

We got Jordan Lewis in April and Asberry in May I think last year

May 1st is the deadline to notify the school of their intention to transfer to be eligible to play next season. After that can pretty much take their time with selecting destination. Most schools want you to come as soon as possible for summer activities.

Eventhough she is a good player, I am not sure if I would want Joens. Apparently her father is a nightmare to deal with. Iowa State fans talk about him a lot on their forum.

Correct. Father a hot mess and displayed it on national TV 2 seasons ago. Not a good fit culturally for Baylor.

I think 3 players taken In WNBA draft ( 2 in top 10) and no remaining players entering the portal ( so far) speaks volumes to a transfer.

May not mean anything but 6'6 Kennedy Brown, KS (Oregon State transfer) is following Micheal Motta and Tari Cummings . We May some interest. Her little sister is committed to Iowa State. Her sisters top schools were all big 12. If she wants to stay close to home like her sister chose to do, I think she will end up at a big 12 school as well.

Joyce Edward's may be the top 2024! So glad we are getting these players to campus. I knew we followed her but did not realize that we were actively recruiting her. Great news we are getting these players to campus! We will get some of them! Come on AB and JE!!!
