Jimmy with a birdie on his sixth hole to move to -4 and in 42nd place. The leader has it at -9 right now.
JW birdies 10 to get to -5 on the tourney and tied for 38th. Having a nice day so far.

Needs to add more birdies - take advantage of the NT course; this course is easier & its the only round he gets to play it.
I think the last two years the winning final score was looking like -26.... so probably need to finish somewhere close to -10 under today to be in good position

T37th after a 2 under (70) today; didn't take advantage of NT, really needed a 66, 67 type round today.

Playing 2 courses again this week - North & South, with the North being the easier one. Jimmy is on the North course today, he's -1 thru 12 holes. Like last week he's not taking advantage of the easier course. The leader at -8 and 20 of the top 25 are playing the North today.
He shot +1 and is tied for 107th with little chance of making the cut.
Jimmy's exempt status ends after the '21-'22 season

The top 31 on the leader board shot between -4 and -8; only 4 of those 31 played the South course.
On the other end - of the worst 66 scores (which includes Jimmy) only 9 played the North course.
Scoring has slowed down today for the field. JW has had 3 bogeys and 3 birdies and is even through his round after 10 holes. He's actually moved up spots just staying even.

On the positive side, Jimmy did make 10 birdies in the 2 rounds - could've made the cut easily if he avoided the bogey strokes.

Jimmy is right back at it this week; Waste Mgt Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. Early tee time Thurs (9:20am), afternoon on Fri (1:40pm). Hopefully Jimmy will put 2 rounds together and play the weekend.

Bogeys on 6 and 8, he's back to Even. Needs to get it going as someone is already 6 under & several at 4 under.

Jimmy now has 3 birdies and 4 bogeys and stands at +1. He's about to enter the best scoring part of the course....holes 13-17. He really needs to heat up on this stretch.
Well...JW had a roller coaster round. He did manage a birdie on his final hole to finish at -1 and currently tied for 31st as the afternoon group is getting started.
He's gonna need to go a lot lower tomorrow; -1 is already down to T44th, it will probably be 60 something by the end of the day.
Well....JW is joined by good company as Justin Thomas had a triple bogey on 17 which dropped him down to -1. Rory at -1 also. Puts them in 51st.
Jimmy is Even thru 11 holes today; somewhat derailed by a double bogey on his 9th hole of the day. The cut sits at -3, so long story short he needs to shoot 3 under on his last 7 holes.
