Ruth Bader Ginsburg was for abortion. Even she said that the Supreme Court erred on the original Roe case. She stated that the court should have just struck down the Texas law and should not have used "privacy" to rule nationwide. Even she indicated it was not a Constitutional issue and instead was a state issue.

Having said that, I somewhat understand abortion is cases of rape, incest and life of the mother but what is the point of abortion beyond those reasons except to have irresponsible sex?
It should be decided in either Congress or State Legislatures.

Does anyone really know a woman as helpless as Waco1947's caricature? I understand that is the official Democrat party view of women, but I have never actually met a woman that helpless in real life.
Yes, I know countless women.

Sixty-six percent say Roe v. Wade should not be completely struck down, and 59% would support Congress passing legislation to establish a nationwide right to abortion, including 81% of Democrats, 65% of independents and 30% of Republicans, the survey finds.
CNN

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. The 59% that say Congress should pass legislation, than you wouldn't have to rely on wrong judicial precedent. If the polls are right, it should be a slam dunk.

Oh, than there would have to be compromise, we can't have that.

This continued punting every tough decision to the Courts has got to stop.

So true Congress and especially Republicans should get off their high horses and make gender equality a law and reproductive rights a woman's sole decision
You do realize that by leaking the document and going over the top protesting they have pretty much condemned Roe to being overturned. The Court really has no choice, even if they didn't want to do it now they have to overturn or be subject to protest and leaks over everything. If they let Roe stand, it will be taking by the extremist out there as a success and breed more of this type of behavior. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

Funny thing is that Roe is flawed and should be overturned, but the leak gives the Court the motivation or the Court means nothing.

Should not have leaked it...

A terrorist act occured.

A "bullet didn't just "go through a window"

Someone was trying to kill someone and shot through a window.

These people are fools, I don't want to hear them telling me what is and what isn't. They don't know.

The point being made, is it is disinformation in the way the MSM describes something that happens to a conservative group vs. something hat happens to a progressive/liberal group or individual.

Framing a topic can be misinformation. I'm sure the "Ministry" isn't "informing" anybody about that.

Eventually mended. They were proud of the achievements and wanted to be a part of the granddaughters life. May have even taken credit, in the end. Her Dad passed at our home on hospice as she took care of him in his final days. They were at both graduations, as well. Good times.

Serious question:

Should mothers of children two years and younger be allowed to kill those children if they "cannot support them with minimum wage jobs"?

We all know what this is about. The democrats were about to get slaughtered at the polls and lose the house and senate. In 2 years, we are now at 1 million covid deaths, war in Ukraine, inflation at 8% and some places up to 17%, gas is at $5/gal, can't find baby formula, the list goes on and on....This is the democrat hailmary to take everyone's eyes off all these problems and make the election about "women rights."

Hopefully we are dumb enough to fall for it.
