$15+ at the Waco In-N-Out for new hires. No laws requiring it, just a response to a tight labor market. Yay capitalism.

Women: "Can I have birth control?"
Republicans: "No."
Women: "I couldn't get birth control so I got pregnant. Can I have an abortion?"
Republicans: "No."
Women: Can I have prenatal and post natal healthcare that I can afford?
Republicans: No
Women: Can I have affordable labor and birth care?
Republicans: No
Women: "I had the baby, but I'm out of work. Can I have WIC and food stamps until I get back on my feet?"
Republicans: "No."
Women: I found a job but it doesn't pay a livable wage. Can I have a $15 minimum wage.
Republicans: No
Women: "I found a job, but it doesn't offer me insurance. Can I have government guaranteed insurance?"
Republicans: "No."
Women: "My kid got sick and I got fired because I missed time caring for him. Can I get unemployment?"
Republicans: "No."
Women: "I'm having a hard time getting my kid from school consistently. Can we fund after-school programs?"
Republicans: "No."

People Who Make Bad Decisions: "Can I have others pay for my bad decisions?

Democrats: "Yes. Vote for us. We will transfer the burdens and expenses of your decisions on to others."

Problem with your conclusion would you then rather have these children put on the public dull because mothers cannot support them with minimum wage jobs.
so my wife got pregnant at 17. Family kicked her out. Was faced with having an abortion. Decided to have the baby and adopt. Held the baby after birth and decided to raise her as an 18 yr old. Mother and baby are both physicians now, after a short time 'on the dole'. Graduated med school one year apart. Now also paying tens of thousands of dollars in taxes now as they work into june to actually see money not taken. It isn't always what it seems, making the hard choice of life.
Great for her but you can't decide for millions of women.
Regardless of all this great discussion. The question at hand is who makes this determination- Feds or State? Constitution, as it stands today, firmly indicates it is a State issue. Even Ginsberg stated that Roe was not sound or stable.

Even if Roe v Wade stands, The Supreme Court will allow restrictions by the States. This is what Roberts seems to want. The heartbeat rule will stand.

Hell, even Chick Fil A starts people out at $15 an hour.

So does Cains Chicken, and Panda express is advertising $14 an hour plus bonus.

Food service pay has entered a new era, as has fast food prices.

Hey I think it's great. My kid can get some real money this summer. It's always been hard work. In the past I've worked at Whataburger, Falls Hotel restaurant Marlin, Churches Chicken, Jack in the Box, Bridgers Creek Rest. in Austin. Some of them had me doing really tough work all for minimum wage. This is a good thing.

Multiply that $15 an hour x2 people and you have a real living wage. If you can manage 50 hours a week, which I did at Churches and Whataburger, you can get some real decent money.

It's depressing to see some posters do little more than repeat silly talking points, especially radically pro-abortion Christians.

Abortion is not a medical condition. It is the result of an intentional act (spare me the rape/incest mess as that may be 0.00001% of abortions).

Contraception is cheap and widely available.

By some of those evil radicals beliefs, parents should be able to kill their children if they cannot afford them. Molech.

A stillborn is issued a birth and death certificate. Photos are taken for closure. Funeral rites are appropriate. There are also blessings that are used "Order for Blessing of Parents After a Miscarriage. The Order of Christian Funerals ".

"Indeed the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let them come to me, do not hinder them" allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without baptism (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1261).

Basically, without baptism, there is no way of knowing. So we hope. But the church does not just toss em aside., as implied.

Baptism is a sacrament for the living. The Catholic Church cannot baptize still born or the dead. I believe that only LDS attempt to baptize the dead. I really shouldn't speak for them. Maybe someone here who is LDS or has LDS experience can clarify.

The mass is the highest form of prayer. Therefore, the Church does allow and encourage funeral masses for still born or miscarried babies.
