Trump on the ground with Melania in LA right now talking to residents. Melania conversed with a couple of them either in Slovene or Croatian. Definitely not German. She speaks six languages, she's not only beautiful but very smart

I was impressed that they put the personal stuff aside to work on the problem.

As for Newsome being by himself, he did not know what to expect. He didn't want ANY witnesses to a berating by the President. I thought well played by Trump, he came across Presidential and will exact what he wants after recovery is underway. Well, done.

No kdding. Trump sitting in a nest of liberal vipers, clearly telling them what needs to be done, how to do it, when to do it and what the Feds will help with and not help with. He spoke to each one of them and made them feel like he was speaking to them on their level.

He is playing Teddy Roosevelt to the T. Walk softly and carry a big stick!

CA needs him to do it this way. They do not need a brow-beating right now, that comes later... He helps them and follows through on it. CA may go Red for Vance.

I was hoping he'd bring Stephen Miller with him but seeing Grenell there sitting next to him, awesome. They were like a bunch of children being punished by their parent. DT telling them he would be leaving RG there with them to oversee the progress.
Thank you, DT and RG, for bringing adults into the room.
And yes, he was very presidential with GN.
GN was the typical fake he always is.
DT, and even Melania, saw right through it on the tarmac.

I loved the debate between DeSantis and GN. When DeSantis asked how you destroy a great state like CA, which has so many resources, and has the goods to be a world economy.
It was perfect! And he mimicked what I've been saying for years.
You have to go out of your way to ruin a place like CA. It has so many naturally occurring gifts going for it, that it would take someone being purposeful in their attempts to ruin it.
CA has the weather, the climate, the geographic grandeur and diversity, an agricultural landscape that can rival many, if not most of the, world's greatest areas of crop production.
Not to mention, because of its weather and other draws, it has become the home of a bumper crop of tourism destinations (including theme parks, national parks, etc.), along with great cities like SF, LA and SD that attract visitors from around the world.
How do you take over a state with all of those jewels in the crown that is CA, and destroy it by watching more people and businesses leaving the state than those coming in. Not to mention the Hollywood industry, which had reasons for settling in CA. Reasons that still exist, except for that pesky little business friendly thing. Which liberal governors, esp. those in CA, love to sabotage as well.
RD hit the nail right on the head. All while governor hair gel just stood there smiling, bouncing back and forth on his feet, oh so playful (gag me)...all while being pantsed on national TV.
Cue the Looney Tunes exit music.
