Beat me to it. Musk is much more efficient, and does a vastly superior job for a fraction of what the bureaucracy of NASA does. Same thing on replacing Verizon with his Starlink program. He matched the Verizon contract with vastly superior equipment AND service for an aging program

DOGE is looking at all of the government. So far, they have looked at several agencies including some unrelated to his business contracts: USAID, the IRS, the CPB, the Postal Service, etc. I have not seen any evidence of a conflict of interest. Instead, I have seen plenty of wild speculation.

Americans as a whole are very happy with the results we have seen, according to polls. This includes lots of Dems.

Just curious, if the DOGE information ends up being wrong, exaggerated or results in rehiring positions that should not be fired will you admit it?

Whatever he does or did at Twitter is his business, he bought it and owns it. Have at it.

This is different. Thiis is our business. Get rid of waste, sure. Get rid of old programs that serve no purpose? Sure. But, he is also gutting capabilities along with waste, mainly because he and his team have no idea what these people do and are not trying to find out, which is why they keep having to go back and rehire people.

Anyone can take a chainsaw to something. Skill and intelligence is getting rid of what is waste and increasing capabilities. Freeing capabilities from the waste.

Right now, does not appear to be happening. Getting rid of Fire Fighters out west, air traffic staff or engineering safety, meteorological staff. and others is not making the US stronger. Talk to the Fire Fighters out west, they are fearful this is prep to privatize the National Parks. I know they tried that here in Florida with State Parks.

Look at the FAA firings and the SpaceX flight path issues. Or, the NHTSA firings on AV and Tesla. You tell me, that look kosher to you?
