That's some pretty salty smack from a guy who just checked out of the loony bin.

Link?

Quoting The Gateway Pundit reflects on you. You should be more careful

Also no staffer at a mental heath facility is going to confirm a patient was there or just left over then phone. HIPPA lawsuits would shut the place down.

Lame attempt. Lamer some believe it.

You can deny it all you want. The flight records line up with his discharge and reappearance in Austin.

He went to the same facility in Ohio as Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.

The place specializes in democrat breakdowns.

Are you still claiming the Ohio mental facility story is true?
Paxton campaign is distancing itself from this story

You mean the flight records that show a plane went to Ohio and came back?

Do you have a passenger list? Did anyone see him enter or exit the plane on either end?

They already admitted the "call" was AI generated and also claimed dates that would not line up with the actual dates Talarico was off the trail. If there is any actual hard evidence, do you not think there are dozens of people trying to find it? That this is the best they can come up with after 72 hours is pretty telling. Early voting starts in a week, there is no benefit to holding back any further October Surprises at this point.

Also the fact that Stephen Miller is the only admin official really pushing the question. He isn't subject to any real risk or public scrutiny. He's being the mouth piece of a story they know has no legs to save Trump or Paxton from having to answer for being wrong.

It was 12-13 days and both are wrong. Granger never should have been in Congress that long nor should any geriatric politician with limited mental or physical abilities. Joe Biden illustrated this long before moving to the executive branch! Same with Diane Feinstein, Mitch McConnell, and probably Chuck Grassley (in his 90s and filed for reelection in 2028). Plus there are major differences between House & Senate.

Well surely that bug eyed weasel Paxton won't be afraid to debate a guy that's been in a mental institution, right?

Lots of noise, but interesting how much Talarico wants a debate.

Booboo Bear

Not nearly as interesting as how much Paxton doesn't want to.

Because it's been a standard practice for a long time, and he knows he would wipe the floor with Paxton, which coincidentally is why Paxton would rather keep getting hit with his cowardice than share a stage with Talarico.

You say that, but in strategic terms it makes sense for Paxton to avoid a debate.

Talarico knows that he is not in control of the moment.

Go ahead and keep calling Paxton names, it's what you have done all campaign.

I'd suggest it's not working, and this late in the election both sides are committed to their course.

And no, Senate debates are not automatic, and there is a clear reason Talarico wants them.

I genuinely don't get Paxton's running from a debate.

Timing, among other things. Anyone undecided at this point is likely to be persuaded by an emotional argument, rather than consideration of policy and past positions.

Also, Talarico is out of cash. The debate is free advertising for him, which is not in Paxton's interest.
HuMcK
How long do you want to ignore this user?
We're mostly in agreement, you're just trying to avoid stating the obvious. Paxton doesn't want to debate because it would drop his polling numbers. Talarico wants to debate because it would likely secure his lead even more. I understand it, but that is objectively a cowardly strategy for Paxton.

There's a reason Paxton's campaign has kept their candidate from doing anything unscripted, and why most of his ads feature his voice and face as little as possible. It's because his team knows that a side-by-side comparison with Talarico is unfavorable to Paxton. At this point they know it's hurting them, even Fox News and Trump himself have called Paxton out on it, but they're locked into it because reversing themselves now would be even worse.

Talarico is doing another televised town hall Q&A event this Wednesday. Ask yourself why Paxton hasn't ever tried to set up even a similar solo event like that. Does that strike you as a candidate confident in his message and platform?

Wrong, you are assuming your emotions are facts.

The fact that Talarico wants a debate tells me he is not in control of the race. He may be leading but he's not in control. So Talarico wants a media event, especially since he can't afford new ads right before the voting starts.

Paxton is a different story. On the one hand, Ken Paxton is not an attractive candidate, and his messy primary fight with Cornyn only damaged his position more. Paxton's divorce and impeachment were naturally going to be used by his opponents, and Paxton didn't really address either in a way that shuts the door on them.

But Talarico was an incredibly stupid choice by Democrats. Democrats may have believed the Beto clone would be popular with Texas voters, but while Talarico avoided the completely tone-deaf positions taken by Jasmine Crockett, his positions on a lot of topics were land mines he could not just pretend he never took.

So here we are, with neither candidate going into details on the economy, taxes, the war in Iran, and so on, but instead we get a flood of insults and personal insults about each other.

Cutting to the chase, this election will affect the control of the Senate, Senate approval of judges and other vital nominees, foreign policy, taxes and many other decisions which will affect us all. It comes down to supporting the Democrats or the Republicans.

In Texas, that is a big advantage for Paxton, and there is no way a debate with Talarico is anything but a gamble.

And again, Talarico wants that gamble while Paxton does not.

Unscripted? Everything Democrat is scripted. Low-T hasn't had an original thought this whole campaign because when he speaks from his heart, his bizarre life and opinions are put on display.
