I guess I fail to see the incompetence? I see him getting harassed for 3.5 years by a bs politically motivated investigation that was baseless. I see his policy on prison reform helping minorities. I see him creating policies that led to a great economy that was wrecked by a virus that you can not stop because it is a virus, not like it was the red army. I see the economy bouncing back after the lock downs even though many democrats are still locking down their economy. I see his policies changing the Middle East, I see a President who finally brought troops home instead of starting wars. Was he perfect no, does he need to learn when to shut up and stop tweeting, yes. But to state that he was incompetent is ignoring alot of great accomplishments no matter what side you are on.bear2be2 said:It's one thing to fall for that initially. Sounds like a recount is appropriate, but you have to count the vote before you can recount itBaylorFTW said:

Agreed but expect the media to put intense pressure on Republicans to cave, because that tactic has worked before with much smaller stakes.BaylorFTW said:The media has no credibility. And Rich Baris says that when all the votes are counted, Georgia will flip back to Trump. And if he gets Arizona right there is little reason to question him about Georgia. Plus, there is going to be a recount in Georgia and people are going to find fraudulent ballots so Biden will lose his small lead in Georgia. And then the media will have to begrudgingly acknowledge that too.
The reality is things will be going over more and more to the court system and it is going to be very ugly and very political and conservatives are going to learn just how corrupt our judicial system is. Ultimately, we are going to find out first hand if those Trump appointees are loyal or are compromised.
Long story short, nothing will be over for some time.
You're also talking about America when you say that.Aliceinbubbleland said:

Thanks, jeremy. In general, it appears that Dems increased their turnout more than Reps. I wonder if that suggests more Dems jumped party lines that Reps. So the increased Dem turnout in the battleground states may be much ado about nothing.Texasjeremy said:VOTER TURNOUT BY PARTY (2016 to 2020 Differential) - SO FARmidgett said:Do the other battlegrounds and even other states if it isn't too much trouble.Texasjeremy said:

Trump wins Alaska (only mention it bc it's still not called for some reason) and N Carolina to get to 232 EV, then gets Arizona back to get to 243, then flips Georgia back to get to 259.
Then winning either Michigan or Pennsylvania wins the second term.
The first part is very doable and looks like it could happen. The last part is tough, but if MI has to recount all the votes manually bc of today's discovery, that is winnable and who knows what happens in PA.
But whatever happens, it will be a long time to sort everything out and there will be a lot of noise saying it's over long before that is close to being true.
I find it very odd that all these "discovered" ballots really only affected the presidential race and not any congressional races! I think it may have cost John James of MI his, but haven't heard any others. Trump is not going to leave the WH until and if SCOTUS gets it. It is a tough call bc Article 2 says the state legislatures are to make the rules for election methods, but my problem with that is timing. Proof should be made available that ballots are legal and if not thrown out. That could be SCOTUS issue since this is a federal issue, but the lines are quite blurry.Canada2017 said:Oldbear83 said:Nothing will be decided for at least another week. This is what they all do. The very thing they did they accuse R's for it . This has been going on for 4 yrs and someone or some group knows what happened. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Clintons were the puppeteers in all this. It had to come from somewhere. They weaponized everything so why not the virus to allow mail ins. At this point it does not matter. Either fight to the death or walk away and don't say a word...no transition no nothing. DO NOT attend any inauguration unless it is your own. Just walk away. Then you have 2 choices. Since you've transformed the R party keep up the attacks indefinitely or go dark.
