I agree. Right now 3 is way too low, with the increase in population. Pretty much all the thread posts are blue. Which makes the feature semi-useless

Any word on that member list yet? I can't access my old PM's from BFans and I need to get a phone #.

To send a PM to another user just hit New Message and then start typing the members name in the appropriate field. All of the members with similar names will pop up and you can just select the individual you are trying to reach. Hope this helps.

It would be nice to be able to somehow mark all posts as read. If you are away for a couple of days, sometimes you don't really want to go through all the threads with replies, but the OCD in me hates seeing those unread post indicators--so I usually click on them all just to make them go away.

I know...1st world problems.

Many of you all that made the transition from Baylorfans.com have asked for these enhancements. Jason Stewart has been working with the F5 tech team. I wanted to give you an update on the timetable to expect some of these user enhancements.

• Expanded user profiles to show post history, with avatars (November projected completion)
• Post preview on topics page when you hover over the title (October)
• Marker indicating that a thread is in your Watchlist (October)
• Chat function (end of September/early October)
• Email Button on stories (November)
• gyfcat embeds (October)
• User polls (December)
• Ability to insert tables into posts (December)
• Twitter widget for home page (November)
• trending topics (November)
• recruiting db, edits (January)

lots of other projects on the docket for 2018 but these are the priority for now. I'm putting this on some other boards as well but this is the most active on the free side.

I just thought of another feature I think would be nice.

A count of posts in the thread. So that you can refer to a post or multiple by # if needed, or just to see how many replies it has gotten, etc.

Sorry if this has already been suggested.

The quote feature is lacking. in VBulletin if I see a post that has been quoted I can click on the quoted post and be taken to it. Not here. I have no idea how to find the post that has been quoted. Any help?

At the top of this post it should have your username. Click that.

Thanks. One other thing I don't like about the reply feature is that it takes you to a separate dialog box. Unless you quote someone you don't have any way to refer to the post you are responding to. Seems a bit quirky to have to quote the post directly above yours just to make sure you're replying "correctly". If this makes sense.

You aren't forced to quote the post directly above you. Just click on the "quote" function of the post you want to quote, and it will be the one that is quoted.

The reply feature is if you don't want to clutter your post with a long set of quotes. It works the same way, except there are no quotes included. I only use it if I am pretty sure that my post will be only one or two posts below the one I am replying to. So, I would not use it right now in the basketball scandal thread because of the number of posts that are currently happening in that one.

Add - put a clear box around each of the quotes above. They can appear to run together sometimes. I think its a Windows 10 thing. Lots of suckage across the internet thanks to Windows 10... google maps are dang near impossible to read. Roads blend into the background

I think he means that if you quote, you have the text of the post you're quoting right there in your dialog box - making it easy to reference. You don't have that same luxury if you only reply.

I just don't like the separate dialog box dealio. VBulletin keeps your post in a vertical/chronological order whether your post is the next one or not when a thread is busy. You don't need to quote the last post, you can see it as your reply. Sometimes you forget something that may have been in the post and fail ro respond to that point. It's just weird having a separate dialog box. You can't even minimize it to look at the thread. You either have to quote or work from memory.

I will be submitting requirements for a members list. Before that I am submitting requirements for more user info on registration : team. Facebook page, twitter, location...etc. also you will be able to update these fields if you are a current member. After that is done I will ask for a sortable members list with the fields in it.

The numbers by a post is another good one that I will submit.

Maybe HS? And multiple 'teams you support' - many of us went to two colleges or simply support two as we moved into a new city. Also pro teams.

Great call. I have asked in the requirements for the Sicem365 staff to have ways of adding and removing fields through a control panel.

If you navigate a certain way the article disappears. I can't remember for sure but I believe I read that you have to go to the next page by "clicking on the number to the right".

I haven't tried that since reading the instructions, so this week I will just try that and see if it works. If not, I will try other ways of navigating that are available.

Right now, if you search for the Kansas gameday thread, the story is not there.

I pushed the button to give money for a ticket purchase for people to sit on the grass and it did not work.

Who is responsible for updating the TV schedule portion of the site's Football>Schedule page? It still shows "TBA" for last week's BYU game, and "TBA" for the rest of the season. This was a problem last year, as well.

Seems to me that the $!5/mo fee should at least cover what TV coverage is going to be for at the next couple of weeks.
