Yet Baylor got Taliah Scott from the transfer portal. She was highly coveted from the transfer portal and high school ranks. Seriously calm the heck down.

She was offered playing time at a&m which is why she signed there because she said she didn't want to play behind Bella and buggs. She will be be playing from behind so miss with the " christ sake" stuff...

T.Latson committed to SC-e. Rich keep getting richer. Don't know how Staley is going to handle all the 5-star McD AA's on her team. She also has 2 new 5-star McD AA recruits coming in class of 2025. Possibly her entire roster full of McD AAs. Some of them willing to sit on the bench and come in limited minutes.

Nicki is very discreet about recruiting. Not much gets out at all until someone commits. Scott was a huge surprise! I am sure Nicki and staff are working very hard behind the scenes. Would really like to know her top targets but doubt we will until someone commits.

5-star McD AA Fulwiley supposedly not happy about tournament and coaching decisions. But don't know if she will leave coz her girlfriend is NCAA track champion at SC. There are rumors she may leave.

i doubt it because they all played together. Lay has a spot in the W already even just coming off of the bench.the coaching staff is super close with her and not just on the court but if the court. She is a hometown kid. She is going to have her moment in a SC uniform and in the pros soon.

That's assuming she's ok coming off the bench again next year. She may want to start and be the top dog. She may be ok with taking a back seat. Either way it's naive to think this won't result in some transfers out of SC. It's simply too crowded

in the past she was able to manage the roster pretty well i want to say the only major loss was Rivers to NC State but out of all the 5 stars she has she lost one and gained many more.

That's because she typically doesn't recruit over players. She has a system and it's absolutely worked. But she's definitely going against her system bringing in Latson. Not saying that's a bad thing. But this is the 1st she's recruited over players. Latson isn't going there to come off the bench. She's going to start and play 30 plus a game.

SC has lost a number of highly ranked players over the years. Jah just transferred yesterday to SMU. Last year Cooper transferred to Tenn. If SC player wants more playing time or be a starter, they will transfer if they want coz chances are they will start at a new team. Add F Sakima Walker to portal.

Ok...I stand corrected. I heard a broadcaster say this. Current one is the last...but I just Googled "Joens girls basketball"...you are absolutely right. Ashley Joens gave us so much trouble on the court.

Curious about BYU with Coach Whiting leaving. So far only her daughter is leaving for OK State. The associate head coach has been given HC job, so players must be OK with him. Usually expect some bailouts with coaching change. Don't players get a longer window to enter portal with coaching change?

Possibly BYU would be one of the few places that would not get slammed by the portal every year. As in, the players want to be there because they are LDS more than any other reason (e.g. coach, NIL).

Buva, yes basketball players have 30 days to enter the portal after a coach leaves the program. Part of the reason is the new coach may withdraw scholarships from current rosters and bring in his/her own players and assistant coaches. Like what KY WBB coach Brooks did.
