WACO, Texas – Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears (3-2, 1-1) are set to face the Kansas State Wildcats (2-3, 0-1) for a Big 12 matchup. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 4, at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

We'll score like we always do and it will come down to making a stop on the final drive, which means we'll likely lose a one-score game we should have won by multiple scores.

Not really. This is more about defensive coaching. Getting these kids in the right spots. And coaching them to not make stupid mistakes like flagrant fouls

The most counterintuitive thing with Aranda for me is he's billed as cerebral, philosophical and reserved in nature,but puts a product on the field that lacks fundamental skills and lacks discipline (as witnessed by continual ill timed penalties in almost every game). Regardless of talent level, I thought Aranda's teams would always be fundamentally sound and disciplined. We're the exact opposite.
