I am old enough to remember when Lewisville was a relevant basketball program. But I'm pretty old. We did lose a recruit to them once - can't remember the name, it was about 20 years ago.
The Louisville troll totally lost whatever tiny amount of credibility he might've had when he referred to the Foster as "a dump". LOL! What a clown. If Drew ever leaves BU it won't be to go to Louisville.

The videos of the seniors leaving and their words about how their faith grew and their relationship with God grew while at Baylor says a lot about what is important to Coach Drew. He recruits and plays to win, but he is about building young men. At some point, money isn't the desired outcome, and he has plenty. I would think the culture shock of Baylor to Louisville would not be appealing. This will not be something I ever worry about happening.

Louisville hasn't won a national championship in nearly 40 years (2013 vacated because it's a dirty school and program). They are irrelevant as it gets when it comes to modern college basketball. UL is a shi77y school, in a shi77y city, in a shi77y state and the only relevance they can grasp onto is ancient history. They constantly play second fiddle to UK because no one gives af about Louisville.

FWIW, Louisville didn't even have a sellout when UK came to town, but at least the announced crowd was 17K in a 20K seat arena. When Duke came they only had 12K.IowaBear said:

Why would Drew go to a team who might not even be in a major conference in a few years? The ACC is circling the drain. I want it to survive, but it is the most unstable conference in the P4. If the ACC dies, Louisville probably will not find a home in the Big 12, much less the Big Ten or SEC.
Anyone who describes the Foster Pavilion as "a dump" is ignorant or stupid. Whoever says such a thing is probably a troll so there is no reason to pay any attention.

That actually surprises me. Given the long past Denny Crumm glory years, I assumed they got there at least once during that time period - but apparently not. So, even given our (to put it nicely) mostly unremarkable bball history pre-Drew, at 3 appearances we still have more Final Fours than Louisville.

I think you have to judge "better" job in terms of the median candidate. Louisville has a long track record of investment and support with success under multiple coaches.
