47, here is an honest question for you. I'd like an honest answer.

Are you a heretic?

heretic
/hertik/
noun

[ol]
  • a person believing in or practicing religious heresy.
    synonyms:
dissenter, nonconformist, apostate, freethinker, iconoclast; More

    • a person holding an opinion at odds with what is generally accepted.
  • [/ol]
One person's heretic is another's authority.
Read the definition again, 'generally accepted' is the defined authority.

What I said. Your views are heretical with Islam.

Actually no, unbelievers and heretics are different.

Can you prove it? All you got is a holy book among a thousand holy books that make the same claim. That does not make it truth.

C'mon 47, does proof save a person's soul or does the Holy Spirit?

Apologetics has it's purpose but saving souls ain't it!

... meanwhile, you depend on the assumption that no such God exists, even as you say you serve that God.

I cannot fathom such thinking, to deny the very ground on which you must stand.

Where have I mentioned a holy book? I haven't. I'm happy to discuss this using logic and reason.

We can discuss anyone of Thomas' Five Ways to reach this conclusion.

Please explain to me where the universe came from. "It simply is" is not a valid answer. You have challenged others to defend their point without a holy book. Please defend your stance on the universe that "simply is."

Under Hawking's, Hertog's, and Hartle's no boundary concept, there is no place for a god to exist outside of space and time.

So you place your faith in dead men.

    Good luck with that.

Hawking may have been a brilliant physicist; however, he was a terrible philosopher.

Also, he was also completely incorrect about his concept of "nothing."

I'm happy to engage with you more at a later date; however, I want to discuss these questions with Waco47 to understand his logic.

Your post is detracting from my questions to him.

    And they get treated differently.

    Nothing means just that: nothing.

If a god can be outside the nothing then why can't a natural force? Kuhn as cited by Michael Shermer.
