RIP Val Kilmer. He will always be the greatest western action hero in history. No one will ever top his masterful work as Doc Holliday in Tombstone.

Gone far too soon! Praying for his family. 🙏pic.twitter.com/pzwEjO5CW0
"I have behaved poorly. I have behaved bravely. I have behaved bizarrely to some. I deny none of this and have no regrets because I have lost and found parts of myself that I never knew existed," he says toward the end of "Val," the 2021 documentary on his career. "And I am blessed."Doc Holliday said:

Violence for the sake of violence OR violence in rhythm with the plot? Trying to get wife to watch. She doesn't like the over the top violence like Warrior. But, she liked The Gentlemen and Tulsa King.Assassin said:
"Mobland" - Tom Hardy, Pearce Brosnan, Helen Mirren... wow! Great lineup and S1, 1 was badarse! Gonna be one hell of a series.
Mobs, families and so on in London area. S1,1 could have been a standalone movie!
Not sure she would go for Mobland. But it does have a pretty interesting storyline, so maybe. It moves pretty quickly. BTW - This was the finale.Next up, "1944" it's is a Yellowstone prequel series set in 1944, exploring the Dutton family's life on the Montana ranch during World War II, announced by Paramount+ in 2023, alongside "The Madison" (formerly "2024").Assassin said:

Severance season 2 was great. Highly recommend the show.
White Lotus season 3 was good. Sex, drugs, drink, violence at the end, so not for everyone, but writing and acting are great. Perhaps a little slower in pace than 1 and 2.
Planning to see Warfare in the theaters. If anyone has seen it wouldn't mind a thumbs up or thumbs down report. I'll give one after if not.
Lot's of REALLY weird homo stuff in S1. I mean strange...Keyser Soze said:White Lotus had a good deal of buzz & I have never watched. Saw S1E1 and was not impressed. Assume it gets better.boykin_spaniel said:

My son and I really enjoyed it ... took a little too long to get going, but it was fun ... thought rather than the corruption - blackmail angle they could have just had him convince the CIA to let him join the mission.TechDawgMc said:
Saw The Amateur at the theater this weekend. It's an entertaining movie. The tricks that Malek's character pulls to knock off the bad guys are pretty interesting. The believability rating for the movie would have to be approaching zero, but if you can avoid worrying about that, it's pretty good. The one other complaint I'd have is that the previews reveal way too much.
The first trailer for ‘PREDATOR: BADLANDS’ has been released.

Watched first 3 episodes of Andor season 2. They're releasing them in batches of 3 with each batch being about a year of time or so. A couple plot lines tonally a little different but it works. Writing and acting on par with season 1.
Would highly recommend Andor for those who haven't seen it. Yes, it is Star Wars, but the writing and acting are unlike any Star Wars. Top notch.
For this scene in Goodfellas, there was no script. Martin Scorsese simply told his mother to act like a typical mom, and her improvised moment about cooking a meal at 2 AM was completely spontaneous.
