Enjoyed watching. Not amazing but entertaining. There were a few aspects I felt could have been delved into deeper.

Agree on Mandalorian. An extended episode of the show. Didn't regret going but also wouldn't blame someone for waiting for it to hit streaming. Things to nitpick for sure but also was mostly entertained which is the point of going to the movies

They got it in IMAX at Northpark. Worth it?

I think so. We saw in 3D, and it was cool.

Depends on your level and type of Star Wars fandom. I'll definitely be seeing The Odyssey in IMAX

If you can get through the very thick and varying accents of the UK, then Legends on Netflix is pretty good. A little bit of a slow burner, but good. Never realized how unique the Liverpool accent was...

DO NOT WATCH. "Pillion" with Alexander Skarsgard.

I thought, Alex does some cool TV shows and movies, so let me check it out.

Watched a few minutes into it when it became apparent what it was about, gay submissives. As I only watched until it got gross... can't tell you how it "ended"

Not a family movie. Not a hetrosexual movie. Not a watchable movie unless you are gay

Top-ranked movie on Netflix is a chilling East Texas true-crime tale
The documentary 'Maternal Instinct' explores the 2020 murder and fetal abduction case that landed Taylor Parker on death row.

As an aside, never seen a person who looks different in every photograph. Hard to tell if it actually was her in all of those photos.

A big theme is the idea that kids are growing up too fast. Part of the blame is pointed at screens. If you think of that as political, it could be argued. I can't think of anything else but I might have missed something

'The Physician' - an apprentice 'barber' in medieval times, see's a Jewish doctor operate on his master's cataracts. It is a success. Follows his journey through England, France, the Mediterranean, Egypt and to Persia.

Muslims would have killed him on sight as a Christian so he wanders as a Jew so that he can study with a great Persian physician and teacher, played by Ben Kingsley.

It's about 12-13 years old, but really good

I enjoyed because it shows the context of the times the decisions were made. We tend to look back and pass judgement when in FDR's case he faced some big problems. Also, his illness puts a different spin on some of his social decisions.

Not passing value judgements on the policies, just saying it makes you think when you see the issues they dealt with at the time. Same with Johnson.

Watching "Elvis Presley in Concert". He goes down the master list from my childhood.

Back in the 50s, I was a little kid running around our family's rental store on 25th and Gorman in Waco. I would play around all the heavy equipment. I think the nail guns were my favorite, sans the caps that shot them off. It was okay because I had one heck of an imagination.

Anyway, this DJ from Dallas that commuted from his home in Waco. Eddie Fadal, who lived a couple of blocks over on Maple, would come into the store occasionally. One day he came in with this big, strapping young man from Fort Hood to rent a floor sander as they just added a room onto his house and needed to sand the floors smooth. Those floor sanders were big and heavy and they needed this guy to put it into his car.

They were about to load it, and Eddie was looking around for his buddy. Then he heard the screaming, as loud as possible. He looks over and sees him throwing me up in the air, with me yelling as loud as my little lungs could scream.

Eddie laughs and says, "Elvis, put Paul down!"

If I had only known...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elvis stayed over at the Fadal's while he was at Fort Hood, on his off days. Eddie added on a room to his house especially for Elvis.

The worst part about my ordeal is that someone took pictures of it. My parents couldnt give a darn about Elvis and gave them to one of the employees was a big Elvis fan. That part of the story was told to me by my mother many years later.

Add - When I got the boot from Midway, I went to Richfield with Janice and Dana Fadal. Janice was my age and Dana a couple of years younger.

So we went to see Supergirl. I hadn't heard much about itincluding some of the weird things the star had said.

It was not what I expected. More dystopian SF than a super hero movie. Feels like the worlds in something like Alien. A fair bit of action. At times funny. Generally not a bad storythough a rather predictable one.

Silo has returned for S3. Episode 1 is out and I watched. Basically forgot everything that happened so spent much of the episode trying to remember what happened much like the main character.

I've never been completely blown away by the show but the mystery and intrigue is enough that I've kept watching. Honestly, was unaware S3 was being released until opening Apple TV and it came up. Would recommend reading a summary for anyone who watched S1 & S2.
