The people who run our country and the boomers don't seem to understand this
In a free society sellers should be able to accept the highest / best offer avaiable. No different than any other asset.
Have sold many homes for over the asking price....so have my associates. No one ever turned down such offers, especially if the buyers waived the appraisal provision.
Eventually the market will go down. Especially in areas like Florida where 2nd homes are common....and expendable.
