Not taking back Panama in some way would be disastrous. I've been warning about China business controlling both ends to the Canal for years. I've been through the canal on board a ship we were moving from A to P. If someone puts a ship down in the canal, we would not be able to move back and forth without going around the Cape Horn. That would screw us badly.

Been through the Canal several times.

It is not worth invading Panama still again.

As the American people and the rest of central and south America will go nuts.

Just build another bigger, better canal where it should have been done the first time.
