Mexico is a borderline failing state due to drug cartel influence. Trump is trying to teach Mexico that they should be more worried about what the USA might do than what the cartels might do.

In Mexico the politicians either accept money from the cartels or get assassinated by them.

Been a common reality for almost 20 years.

Mexican journalists who appose the cartels often get assassinated. I personally know at least two Mexican business owners who were told by the cartels to give up a minimum of 30% of their profit or shut down …..or be killed.

Both shut down their businesses.

I realize it is difficult to. believe that such a draconian situation exists, especially so close to our country.

But it does.

I give Trump a massive amount of credit for publicly declaring the realities involved. Hope the American people can be patient enough to let his plan unfold.

The bits and pieces to produce Fentynal come through Canada. The precursors and so forth. They left a trail. Lots of payoffs to Canadian officials

Trump wants to Trudeau gone. He should be gone already but the progressives are scheming a way to stay in power sand replace Castro Jr with another like minded dictator. Trump will keep this up to strengthens the conservative candidate.

Everyone keeps saying porous northern border but from what part of Canada to what part of the U.S.? I live 2 hours from the Canadian border, I've been escorted back into US waters by a Canadian CG ship when we drifted too far. Crossing in NY, Ohio and Michigan is kind of a pain in the ass and most of that terrain would be an utter disaster for like 6-8 months of the year.
