I don't care if he commited crimes. When you are a guest in the country we can ask you to leave for anything incindiary. Boot out non citizens that came here to politicize for a terrorist group.
an alien in the USA, legal or otherwise, has full Constitutional rights except for the right to be here at all.
That's why we must defend our borders, so that our liberties are not abused by peoples who mean us harm.
False. There are several things they are not allowed to do.
Larry Fink doesn’t care about America—he cares about cheap labor and keeping the globalist machine running. We’ll be just fine without his open-border nonsense. Trump’s putting Americans first, whether BlackRock likes it or not!
To arbitrarily cut of all electricity to our states would obviously violate various contracts.
Would be an act of war.
In case of such draconian actions I would not fault Trump if he decides to commit paratroopers and take over those facilities in Ontario.
I half expect this to happen.
You are okay with going to war with Canada? That will make Trump no better than Putin. Trump's quest for new territory (Greenland, Canada, etc.) is quite troubling.
If Ontario willfully fails to provide electricity to the populations of three of our states despite viable contracts………that is in reality an act of war.
A parent on Reddit is asking for legal advice after their 18-year-old daughter was caught on camera vandalizing a Tesla and Cyber Truck during a protest and is now being prosecuted.
Show me I am wrong. Show me one President that even made a move to reduce the deficit since GHW Bush who went against "No New Taxes" to get the deficit under control that cost him the election. And Clinton that actually worked with Congress to produce a balanced budget and surplus when he left (I did not vote for Clinton ether time, but history is being kind to him when looking what came after.)

Hell yes I am ok with defending our citizens.
Canada has 86,500 soldiers including 23,000 reservists. 11,500ish of that 86,500 is Navy.
We have 2,000,000 troops.
A "war" with Canada would be concluded by 1000hrs tea time. We aren't going to go to war with Canada but it would be over so quickly that the social media sites wouldn't be able to push a headline.
Unless New York, Minnesota, and Michigan don't have electricity.
If the US had adequate energy infrastructure, those states could always get their electricity from other states. Unfortunately, we don't have enough energy resources because of the idiotic climate cult. It has not accomplished one thing positive. Instead we have the blight of ugly windmills polluting the landscape & killing wildlife (birds & whales especially) with minimal power added. Same with solar "farms". They also are outrageously expensive and have harmed our economy.
Those blue states will get exactly what they voted for only sooner because of the present situation. As typical fascists, they will blame Trump because of recent disagreements while completely ignoring the bigger picture and long term trends. In short, they will project their own culpability onto a convenient target because accepting responsibility would be admitting they were wrong and need to change. They are too arrogant for that.

Wrong
Canadian soldiers are highly trained and in better physical condition than our woke weakened army. Send in special forces....hold the power plants.....then negotiate.
In a move I'm sure loved by conservative Canadians, the Canadian govt is picking up some gender bending USAID contracts that the USA cancelled. They want in on the money laundering game.

We would crush Canada so fast it wouldn't be remotely funny. There's no scenario in which we don't dominate the entire country of Canada in literally hours. They, quite literally, use our hand me downs. Their budget is lower than the 2% NATO norm. We literally spend 100X the amount they do with a military force 25X theirs.
I have no idea why Americans seem to think we are some weak ass. I know it's en vogue to **** on America and downplay how truly dominant we are but this has to be some sort of weird joke.
We wouldn't just destroy Canada, we could turn it in to a parking lot thousands of times over.
We won't do that because, again, we aren't going to war (nor should we because it's just plain stupid) with Canada but this is Tyson hitting Marvis Frazier so hard and so fast the dude didn't know what planet he was on.
BREAKING: DHS Secretary Kristi Noem says they have identified “several more“ leakers inside the federal government who are sharing information about ICE operations.
Last week, two people were identified and are on leave pending prosecution.
There was a strong July to December drop in the S&P during Trump's first term when tariffs on China happened. This was followed by a nice run up until COVID.
Obviously too early to really start making judgments… But it's a rough start
Here is a ten year chart of the S&P index:
Not seeing how those percent drops on your chart match up. Those first term drops were pretty hard.

Considering the Index is at 5572, it means your graph doesn't show all the data...
It needs to pull back to around 5000 to test that support level to be honest.

Larger dips in the index while it was lower overall would mean higher percentage of the index lost.
Not seeing percentage change in index in first chart matching up with the actual data. What am I missing?

The graph is not showing the drop in the index as of now. S&P closed at 5572 today. I'm sure you can read an put a guesstimate line where 5572 would be on this chart...
It's like me walking through the beer aisle at one of the huge Spec's... I pick one up, put it back, pick two more up and get to the counter and go back and get a different one.

Warren Buffett considers tariffs an act of war. I agree with him.
If there are valid contracts in place at a set price for x amount of megawatts for months/ years, it seems to me that Donald Trump and the United States have violated the contract(s) by just Willy Nilly jacking up tariffs.
Trump's treatment of Mexico and Canada is atrocious. Neither are our enemy. Trump is certainly not treating them like allies. Would sure hate to see both countries cozy up to China/ Russia/ N. Korea because of Trump's arrogance. The world is a dangerous place. Trump should try just a little bit of diplomacy here. We need more allies, - not fewer.

You dont get what Trump is doing. He is bringing everything back to the USA. He wants us to be as self sufficient as possible, moving as far away from the globalist experiment of George Soros as quickly as possible. Look back at every single thing that he has done.

Then every counrty applying tariffs to the US is risking war! Instead of matching tarriffs, we should just take over those places!

Percent drop still doesn't match. It's not how many points drop, but percentage drop in boognish's chart. 5572 is on the chart, but is harder to see because of 10 year range.
