This one came out last year, 'Ferrari'. Never in my wildest dreams would I have identified Adam Driver ( In Star Wars Driver plays the role of Kylo Ren, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia) as Ferrari.

A little slow for my taste. Coulda easily worked in some more races earlier in the screenplay.

Penelope Cruz looking a little long in the tooth as he wife.

Not sure if I would recommend it. Had the opportunity to be much better but didnt take it

Just watched D2. Very, very cool. Great sequel to D1. Dont want to give anything away, but the last half hour really changes things. Yes, there will be a D3!

BTW - that is Stellan Skarsgard playing Baron Harkonnean

D3 is gonna go off the book a bit from what I am reading. Still, if its a continuation of what they've done so far, worth waiting for. Hope they get it out before I take the dirt nap

There will be some nice curveballs in it. If you read the Hebert novels, some you will recognize.

I never saw "Its a Lovely Day in the Neighborhood" back 4 years ago when it came out.

Thank god! What a horribly tedious and boring piece of crapola. And I usually like Tom Hanks.

Times said was a top 10 film that years. I dont get it. I like good flicks and I am diverse in my interests. What am I missing?

Watched The Holdovers. Worth watching. 3 central cast members do great work. More dialogue driven like 90s dramas.

Also saw another Alexander Payne film. The Descendants. 2011 release but very good if you haven't seen it.

Random Netflix watch that was surprisingly great was "Bank of Dave". Couple of corny pro socialism lines but if you ignore those an uplifting funny very positive film. Loosely based on a true story.
Bank of Dave was a fun movie to watch

Holdovers was very good. Paul Giamatti is one of the great actors/character leads of the day

Started watching the new Living Dead series with the Sheriff back in the saddle.

the one thing I never bought in the old series was about Rick and Michonne being together. They never matched the chemistry up and they just didnt fit.

Guess what, thats all the new series is about.... gonna give it a shot. I guess.

1 hour, 3 mins in and I am wanting to change the channel to cartoons or re-runs of Gilligan's Island.

I can't believe I had waited for years for this flick. I REALLY wanted it to be a blockbuster, turns out to be a ballbuster...

Gonna let the show run, this is pure dedication. Gilligan will have to wait...

Gonna watch all the shows as they come out, when 10 comes around (last one), then gonna binge the first 9 prior to watching.

I agree, great camera work, great costuming, fantastic war scenes, they just nailed it!

Just binging Murder at the End of the World right now. So far, very cool. I was in IT early in the mid 70s, did some low level coding early on, later built some web pages, kinda have a little kindred spirit although this generations babies are waaaay more advanced than I ever was...

Thats all I will say so Keyser doesnt beat me up on giving anything away...

Love it so far!

just watched the Bob Marley flick.

I worked in Jamaica a few years after the part where everyone was killing each other , 84-88. Ocho Rios and Port Antonio areas. Saw a lot of Rastafarian guys just like the fella with the LOOOOONG dreads. Several had never cut their hair in their lives. And most of them hadnt taken a bath/shower in months to years. It was a Rasta thing...

Started listening to YellaMan down there. Drinking Red Stripe beer....

Finally watched the whole thing today. Really picked up mid-flick. Gotta say, it was better than I originally thought. However Christopher Nolan should have cut it down from over 3 hours to about 2:15 or so. Would have been better.

Hard to talk about it without spoilers - strange name but will make sense later, sci-fi not a murder mystery
