No matter how you present it it or dress it up, Socialism is Socialism. Public and private companies as well as startups should not have to compete with the U.S. government. So far, the Democrats have only threatened Socialism. Trump and the Republicans have actually implemented it.

Just got off the phone with Tarrant County election insiders who broke down what is becoming a five-alarm warning: Democrats are outvoting Republicans here.

For perspective, Tarrant is the last large red urban county in America. It is GROUND ZERO for flipping Texas. While Tarrant has more registered Republicans than Democrats, Ds have done a better job of turnout than Rs for the last several elections. REMINDER: In 2018 Beto beat Cruz in Tarrant by over 4k votes.

I am told that even though Ds typically outperform Rs in early voting, the reduced percentage of Rs early voting against Ds at this point signals a major warning.

Texas will be lost if Republicans don't vote.

Make sure EVERYONE you know votes. There is no greater priority right now.

The people I spoke with are solid officials who are not prone to sounding the alarm unnecessarily, so this is a legitimately serious issue.

The Texas Senate acquitted Paxton on every charge. The securities case was dismissed. Staff complaints and a House impeachment still produced zero convictions. That's not a criminal.

The affair and divorce are ugly, no argument. Personal messiness doesn't disqualify someone unless you're ready to empty half of Congress.

"Protector of pedophiles" is pure Talarico campaign sludge over one plea deal after a hung jury. The victim didn't want another trial, so the office cut a deal. Turning that into "he protects pedophiles" is just desperate attack-ad garbage.

The Texas Senate acquitted Paxton on every charge. The securities case was dismissed. Staff complaints and a House impeachment still produced zero convictions. That's not a criminal.

The affair and divorce are ugly, no argument. Personal messiness doesn't disqualify someone unless you're ready to empty half of Congress.

"Protector of pedophiles" is pure Talarico campaign sludge over one plea deal after a hung jury. The victim didn't want another trial, so the office cut a deal. Turning that into "he protects pedophiles" is just desperate attack-ad garbage.

Acquitted means not guilty. That's what the word means. The Senate found him not guilty on every article. The securities case was dismissed. Zero convictions. Calling that "cute" doesn't change the result.

"Pro-trans for kids" isn't "equal citizens." It's supporting puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries on minors who can't consent to a tattoo. That's not equality. That's medicalizing confused kids. You can dress it up however you want.

I've met plenty of people. Doesn't mean I have to pretend a man becomes a woman or that open borders and higher taxes are smart policy. You voted for the guy who wants that. I didn't. Weak is ignoring the actual record and screaming "bigot" when someone points it out.

For those interested in the polls, I found some interesting behaviors.

I looked up RCP, 270towin, and pollsmax, and found forty-five polls which have published a poll on the Talarico v Paxton race in 2026. Thirty-five of them either published only one poll on the race, or have not published a poll in the past month, leaving ten which show some kind of trend over the last month or more:


ActiVote: Paxton up 2 points in last month
Emerson: no change in past month, but Talarico up 2 points since 2 months ago
FOX News: Paxton up 2 points in last month, Paxton up 3 points since 2 months ago
InsiderAdvantage: Paxton up 2 points in last month
Marist: Paxton up 4 points in last month
Rasmussen Reports: Paxton up 1 point in last month
ReconMR/Siena: Paxton up 2 points in last month
Texas Public Opinion Research: Paxton up 1 point in last month, Paxton up 2 points in last 2 months
Trafalgar Group: Talarico up 1.8 points in last month
YouGov: Paxton up 3 points in last month

That's changes ranging from 0 to 4 points, with Talarico gaining ground in 2 of them and Paxton gaining ground in the other 8 polls.
