What is a good introductory handgun? I have shotguns and long guns, but have never owned a handgun. I would want to conceal and carry.
Someone needs to tell Robert Griffin to watch his back.

I had a Sig in 9mm. I know a lot of people like them, but I didn't think it was anything special.

Truly, I don't **** with automatics much. I have 2 Dan Wesson .357 and .44 and a Colt python, old one. I have couple Rugers and a S&W 1006 that I can drive nails with.

Ruger. Great guns both revolvers and semi-autos.

It was certainly better than say a glock, but it left me wanting more out of it. To be fair, I don't love any polymer handgun.

Oh boy are we talking about guns now?? I have a Smith and Wesson M&P shield 9 mm, a Smith & Wesson M&P9 compact, and an old Colt trooper Mark III revolver in .357 magnum

I also have an AR 15, a Henry Golden boy lever action .22, a Mosin-Nagant that I am trying to get rid of, and a savage model 11 that I highly recommend if you want a bolt action rifle - it has such a sweet trigger.

Are revolvers generally lighter than semi-autos?

Depends on the caliber, but generally autos tend to be lighter.

Since we're on the topic, anyone have any recommendations for books on American political history?

Probably not but they're simpler to operate for someone not used to handguns.

Mirror glazed cake to celebrate the spring game. Forgot to share. First time making a mirror glaze, and it was technical but not difficult.

Should have been an entremet style cake to get a completely smooth finish but I instead did a traditional vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and smoothed it out. It settled and the sides were uneven by the time I poured the glaze. Next time!

I've long pondered what Dwight meant by the Pocket of A Clown being a sad place to hang around. Is it a reference to a former flame or his own demons?

I have no idea what it means but Dwight Yoakum has written some of the best country songs.

Outstanding. I also love the song Bury Me he sings with Maria McKee, probably one of the most upbeat songs about death I can think of.

If it's soaking wet you're doing it wrong. You dry the old ham flower with a dab of tp. Mini shower after taking the browns to the Super Bowl is the way to go.

If you take off the flow restrictor it's like using a water pik. Can't beat that efficiency.
