Hadn't seen that. I guess I'm only mildly surprised. She was a prior staff offer. I'd be curious how hard this
staff may or may not have recruited her. I'm not aware if she even took a official visit here.

Looks Iike Hoopgurlz (ESPN) has updated their player rankings. With the buzz surrounding Littlepage-Buggs, I looked her up…risen to #17. Sammie Wagner is also at #17 now. For whatever these player rankings are worth.

I had always wondered how much the previous coach recruited from JUCO. I think she did in her early seasons at BU, likely out of necessity until she got established. It's always been a great source of seasoned players for Scott Drew

Yes I also noticed that Sammie fell from 2 to 4 to 17. Still great player with a phenomenal skill set but I wonder what caused the recent drop

ESPN changed the vendor producing that list. The prior vendor was hyper focused on skills. The new vendor focuses on an athleticism/skill set balance. Also, the new vendor talks "efficiency matrix" when discussing prospects [analyzing scoring efficiency, individual defensive efficiency, and team O/D efficiency differential (with/without recruit on court)]. Far more analytical approach than previously used [past vendor was a pure eyeball approach].

Thanks for the updates Dcheetah. Vanslooten seemed like a outlier. Don't know that this staff recruited her much. Did she ever step foot on campus? Not to my knowledge.
The staff spent time on Pettiord. Was hopeful for this one. To me, A&M just seems a odd place for her to land.
I'm interested in Bella Fontleroy. We are one of her 5 finalists. Us and TxTech are the two schools she hasn't visited yet.
AP posted that we are heavy favorites for Sa'Myah Smith and Littlepage-Buggs. Those two would be great gets for this staff.

FYI, didn't post that Baylor is a heavy favorite for those two recruits.

Did post that I think [simply my opinion] that Baylor will land those two. My opinion and $5 will get you a small coffee [labeled as a tall coffee] at Starbucks.

I didn't even know we're still recruiting Smith. But that would be wonderful if we could grab her. I really want littlepage-buggs and Fontleroy. I kind had a feeling she might be headed to Arkansas. She described how comfortable she is with the staff and family with the players on the team. Former signed Dauda was her host. I hope we can pull her in. I think we will be her last visit. Hope she comes where she can actually get some playing time.

Ok. I know Littlepage-Buggs has had a visit. I haven't seen that Smith has. I'm not sure how strongly this staff is
pursuing Smith. Have you heard anything on the direction Fontleroy may be leaning?
