It makes no sense. Waco triggers him like no other.quash said:Oldbear83 said:

Let's see. That particular exchange started when Waco tried to make conservatives feel guilty about "gun violence", asking:
"Do you the same sympathy for the nearly 40,000 who lost their lives by gun violence? Yet you did nothing."
This was in response to four murders by an illegal alien.

As I recall, you were unimpressed with murder as a crisis, That's a moral issue a decent man would stop to reconsider, but for here we were discussing Waco's political grandstanding.
So, Canada asked Waco to prove he had sympathy for those who died from cancer. As someone with cancer, I have more than passing experience with pretty much all aspects of cancer.
So you said this about Waco's response:
"Waco didn't brag, or enlarge, he merely stated what his personal experience was in this area."
That's a lie. Here's what Waco said:
" I counseled dying cancer patients and their families, families in grief from suicide, etc. it's called a ministry of presence to the suffering and hurting of others but it was not only sympathy but also empathy. Empathy is better. And remember I am headed to Mexico to build beds for asylum seekers. HFH in March and HFH tomorrow morning."
Waco claimed to be a counselor to patients and their families, which requires special credentials he does not possess and before now did not even claim.
Ergo, he both bragged and lied in that claim.
He then claimed to have empathy with cancer patients, which is another lie. You don't know what it is to have cancer unless you have cancer, just like you don't know what it is like to be raped unless you have been raped, and you don't know what it is like to be shot unless you have actually been shot.
Only an arrogant ass would claim to have empathy with cancer patients. I recall a conversation with my oncologist at M.D. Anderson, when we first met. He explained what they would be doing to start, and finished his introduction by telling me, 'I admit that I can only guess what you are experiencing. We have experience helping patients, but every case is unique, and I won't pretend to understand everything you are feeling and enduring.'
When a senior surgeon with over a decade of leading a department of oncology does not presume to understand what a cancer patient endures, I find it absurd to read the arrogant claims of a pompous narcissist who claims to 'empathize' with cancer patients or their families.
Waco went on to boast about heading off to Mexico on another grand adventure, which had nothing to do with cancer patients or Canada's question.
And for the record, all Waco's boasts hardly amount to 'proof'. Granted, it's well-nigh impossible to prove a thing like sympathy, although someone generally does well in that regard to express compassion for the victims, to seek meaningful solutions, and to respect a reasoned opinion. Waco's response was about himself, not the victims, which says quite a bit which helps his claim not at all.
You then insulted me, which is becoming rather a habit for you these days. Perhaps that is why you find such common opinion with Waco.
Your words are clear, but they prove rather a different result than you suppose, sir.
Why do you make up stuff about Waco?
