So, now that Trump's place has been raided, do you think the FBI will have some time to go after Epstein's clients now?

Well, they did just raid the home of one man accused of raping a 13yr old Epstein girl...
Oh snap! Looky there, a picture of Trump with Epstein in a hallway not having sex with a 13 year old. Well, if that's your barometer, I can do this lame crap all day long. You're the biggest partisan idiot on this board, humckleberry. After all, you were the only idiot trying to defent dementia joe during his fubar'd Afghanistan pullout. Aren't you the dumbass that tried to suggest that the laptop didn't belong to hunter biden too?

Fun fact, the picture of Trump and Epstein I posted was taken in Mar a Lago. I don't care about Bill, burn him down too I say. Y'all are the ones with your panties in a twist whenever someone points out the Trump/Epstein connections, which is a pretty unsubtle tell for who the partisans in this exchange are.

Anyone know on what grounds?
From NYTimes:
The F.B.I. would have needed to convince a judge that it had probable cause that a crime had been committed, and that agents might find evidence at Mar-a-Lago, to get a search warrant. Proceeding with a search on a former president's home would almost surely have required sign-off from top officials at the bureau and the Justice Department.

Kind of like when they got the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

Actually, we don't care that Trump knows who Epstein was and GASP! He even spooke to him.

The partisan here (that's you) tries to make more out of that and anything else that has do do with Trump - all the time (Russia Russia Russia, anyone?)

Face ot humckleberry, Trump lives rent free in your head - all day everyday.

Epstein provided underage sex partners to B. Clinton, therefore Trump gets to violate whatever laws he wants to.

Yep..seems political to me. Enjoy your bunk next to hopefully Alex Jones and the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein.
Anyone who can't comprehend the ramifications of a past president of one party...... having his house raided by the KGB.....upon the orders of the opposing political party currently in power .....is too dumb for words.

EVERY president throughout American history has made decisions that angered the opposition party . Decisions that some...in their zeal for power...wanted 'retribution '.

Every single president throughout American history has had detractors who felt 'justified' in killing him for some real or imagined 'crime'.

At the very least a precedent has been established that all future presidents will be intensely aware of....the possibility of jail time ( or worse ) the moment they leave office.

So they will be even more determined to STAY in power...or make sure their party cronies replace them .
In addition decisions of future presidents will now be impacted by the fear of 'legal' retribution when their term is up.

A reply that has zero to do with my actual question.

My questions has since been answered by various new outlets. It appears "the grounds" has to do with classified docs.

The ignorance and shortsightedness is thick as well.

But hardly surprising .

This raid by the KGB means an end of democracy as we have known it .

Anyone who believes this radical Dem party who ordered the raid...... is now willingly going to release control of the house and senate this November .....is blind .

One way or another...votes or no votes.....Dems are going to hold onto both chambers of Congress.

And the pace of 'change' is going to accelerate .

We are watching the beginning....of the final acts of an internal coup that began almost 15 years ago.

If the republicans weren't so spineless, these actions by the democrats would be the start of a slippery slope. The democrats know the republicans in power don't have the intestinal fortitude to take similar actions on political enemies. I'm not a fan of trump, but this is exactly why they are so scared of trump - he actually is as reckless as the democrats are when he comes to maintaining democracy and has the guts to take similar actions they would take.

A few observations:

1) What Evidence? - Raiding the home of a former President and potential future candidate is a historic event; There had better be rock-solid probable cause, or this really is an incredibly destabilizing move.

2) Merrick Garland - There is absolutely no way in the world that this happened without Merrick Garland's approval and consent. None. Whether or not it was justified I will leave until I see the evidence that supported the warrant. For the sake of this country, it had better be absolutely, unequivocally solid.

3) Trump - Before I know what was looked for and the basis for probably cause, it is hard to know Trump's culpability. And while I can certainly argue that there is a ridiculous double-standard when it comes to Republicans being investigated, in isolation, I cannot say that this wasn't justified without seeing the evidence. Trump is certainly capably of breaking the law if he thinks it is in his interest. But whether he actually did or not, I do not yet know and, outside of the DOJ and Trump, no one does.

4) A Magistrate Judge? - Not atypical for a Magistrate judge to sign a search warrant, but this is not a typical situation. I'm very surprised they went with a Magistrate judge, who is NOT an Article III judge (i.e. not appointed for life but rather appointed by a majority vote of the district judges). I would have thought that they would certainly go for an Article III full federal judge on this.

They unleased a firestorm throughout the country ....and Dems no doubt planned for such a reaction .

Far Left individual. Wow, Trump must be involved with Epstein and his Lolita Island for his personal lawyer to sign off on this document. I bet they find proof of him being on the island and abusing minors. I can't wait until Trump is in jail for life.

Far Right individual. Wow. Those snakes had to dip into the pool of the most corrupt Judge imaginable to find someone to sign off on this garbage, just another Nazi move by the left. They are the ones trying to overthrow the government as we know it. They prove it more every day.

Independent.. When is this partisan garbage going to come to an end, this is something I've never seen before, partisan politcs have reached a low on both sides, it seems worse than I've seen before. Republicans impeached Bill for lying about a blow job, an accusation that was spun out of multiple separate years long investigations. They investigated Hillary for essentially the same thing Trump is being investigated for now, which was spun out of one of a dozen or so partisan Benghazi investigations. That investigation and the GOP weaponization of it ("Hillary is days away from indictment, lock her up!") arguably handed Trump the election. Republicans have already gone on record that they will be holding Hunter Biden hearings when they take control of the House, hoping to spin off an allegation they can use against Joe.

But sure, if you pretend none of that ever happened, I suppose you could say the slippery slope just now started.

There is a significant distinction between a congressional investigation and a DOJ investigation that results in search warrants being issued and homes being raided. That seems to be what you are missing. This action is unprecedented (I don't recall HRC's home being raided or search warrants being issued for destroying devices and servers with hammers, do you?). And when you combine that with the Trump collusion hoax that permeated the entire Trump administration, it does appear to smack of extreme partisanship on the part of people in the admin/DOJ who appear now willing to use the DOJ to do their bidding.

As usual, Dems seem all too willing to open up Pandora's Box on this, either unaware or uncaring regarding the precedence it sets (hello, banana republic) or the retribution that awaits, should the Republicans take control of Congress.
