Because you aren't actually paying attention. Just last week the 11th circuit Court threw out the order granting a special master and allowed DoJ to finallt examine all the evidence. I imagine they will promptly turn it over to the new Special Counsel Jack Smith, who has also been busy issuing subpoenas for the other criminal case he's running. They also hauled Kash Patel in front of a grand jury a few weeks ago, so things are progressing.

Cheer up, if they do indict Trump they'll be doing you friends in the GOP a huge favor.

I once thought legalizing all drugs and taxing them was the best solution. Then we got to see the homelessness and civil breakdown that happens in cities that effectively legalize all drugs (SF, Portland, Seattle, NYC). We've already seen the deaths triple from legal, prescribed opioid use. We've seen a zombie-like Midwest/Appalachia filled with marginally functional meth addicts, who while not homeless in many cases, are destroying their families. Now Chinese made fentanyl is marching through the entire country like Sherman to the sea, murdering thousands.

I'm still not sure pot should be illegal, or some psychedelics. But opiates and drugs that are highly physically addictive should not be openly available. For fentanyl, I currently think anyone dealing that literal poison should be shot on site.
