Getting rid of over a tenth of our opoulation is a great idea.

Undocumented immigrants paid nearly $97 billion in federal, state and local taxes in 2022, according to a July 2024 report, opens new tab by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), which used data on taxpayers with ITINs to estimate tax revenue.
The ITEP report said undocumented immigrants contributed $59.4 billion to the federal government, including payments for federal income tax and federal social insurance such as Social Security, Medicare and Unemployment Insurance.
An estimated 8.7 million of the 11 million immigrants in the U.S. illegally in 2022 were of prime working age, according to a 2024 U.S. Department of Homeland Security report, opens new tab.

I know before I left I felt safer walking through Lowes without being attacked by scraggly looking gangsters posing as day laborers offering to mow my yard or help clean the pool for only a few dollars. And grocery prices have plummeted. Im telling my kids back in Texas that Trump promised to bring down the prices of meds 1500% so that next bottle of cough syrup should come with over $500. So generous of Trump. And the $5,000 DOGE check is in the mail. My grandson wants to take his check and go to a pharmacy. He will turn it into $75000. Just kidding. My grandson knows Trump is such a jokester.

all the stats cited on deportations & releases & gotaways overlook one key detail: We do not detect everyone who crosses the border illegally. So the 6m encounters are only part of the story...the part we've bothered to read. There are millions more who crossed undetected during that timeframe.

My USBP supervisor friend, a guy who literally chases illegals thru the brush for a living, tells me that we do not "encounter" half of those who cross.
