The Israeli government is asking them not to come to Israel because Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran are at war and attacking the State, which might get pilgrims murdered. Makes sense

Dude. Israel did not attack a Church. After two years of intense urban warfare, a single Israeli shell accidently hit the compound of a Church (not the Church itself) and a small number of refugees (of various faiths) were killed/injured. That stuff happens in war. If Israel wanted to attack the Church, they could have turned it in a crushed concrete parking lot.

I can understand why people who go to churches with Israeli flags on stage wouldn't realize that Christianity is as anthetical to a Jewish state as an Islamic one.

The Church of Saint Porphyrious (one of the oldest in the world), the Byzantine Church of Jabalia, and Saint Hilarion's monestary have also been attacked by the IDF.

The absolute numbers tell a very clear story of remarkably good fire control that managed to destroy almost every single structure in a city of several million people except for a handful of churches which remained standing with very minor damage to sidewalks & walls and only a single digit number of people wounded/killed on church grounds.
