NK has not said they will not eliminate nuclear weapons.

That is a conclusion reached in a CIA report being circulated. You know the same CIA that couldn't find Bin Laden, didn't know 9/11 was being planed, didn't think the USSR would put military bases/missiles in Cuba, didn't think the Iran revolution was going to happen, didn't think the USSR was going to collapse, and said the Arab Spring would destroy Al Q- not grow them/ other groups. (and other things I am sure I'm missing)

So yeah I highly doubt they can accurately predict what the leader of NK is thinking or planning to do when he has not said anything publicly about it.

I'm ok with it as part of a good faith effort towards peace, but we need to recognize that the glad-hand treatment for NK like this is a small concession in itself. These photo-ops have tremendous propaganda value in NK that will strengthen the regime. Some of POTUS' recent signaling and statements today also indicated that we have dropped human rights as a negotiating point, that's not nothing either.
