No one's " triggered" listening to same people ***** over and over about the downsizing of the new arena gets rather old. Especially when it's clear as day it ends downsized so we can actually create and home court advantage. As far as golf dude, he falls into the *****ing category

Another naming rights opportunity for the new arena missed by Mack Rhodes:
Kentucky plays at Kroger Field.
Boise State plays at Albertson's Stadium.
Texas Tech plays at United Supermarkets Arena.
Tom Thumb would be the perfect partner.

Why do we need to sell the naming rights...are we that pressed for cash?
No need for naming rights. We do need to allow alcohol sales for special events so we can bring concerts to town. McLane stadium can easily host stadium shows. And foster can hold smaller concert and like WWE type events.
A few interesting observations from this construction photo:
1. They have brought in the use of a third crane.
2. Dirt is now moving on the parking garage.
3. Those square holes in the concrete at the front are for the escalator, I believe.

Square holes would be elevator shaft.
Well, they spent all day, taking down, taking apart the big crane
Just watched the video of what the finished product is gonna look like and it looks like like the main entrance and foyer part of the building has yet to been built
It's now closed in.
And, we have stadium lighting installed.
That's definitely not stadium lighting what it is is the lights they use when they work at night and apparently someone probably forgot to turn off the one in thereso far there's not any electricity in the building yet no wires or anything has been installed
Exciting stuff happening today the final our finishing up the steel framing on the open end so they can finish the roof in the video board structure

McLane has already taken care of the food distributor representation for us.
I think the Tom Thumb moniker is more in reference to the size of the arena.
In that case, maybe we should get Cefco to sponsor the arena...

It's going to be a nice little arena and fun to watch games in. I'm not worried about the seating capacity.
So only about 10 months away from tipoff!!!

Does anyone know about pricing for the new arena? A friend of mine has court side center seat behind the tv announcers. He told me that tickets will be 4X next year and he will not be renewing.

Maybe for the non-conf game vs McNeese St but not any marquee games.
I think the sometimes sell those tickets on Stubhub, etc. G try jus is why you Jay see Texas fans, for example, in those seeds.
