I also tried to call a Best Buy last week about a refund issue. The local store is having an AI agent answer the phone. It could not answer my simple question and would not let me speak to a person. It simply gave me an answer it thought I needed and asked what else it could do for me… except pass me on to a person.

Had a similar experience with Amazon recently. They shipped me an item that i ordered...but when i opened the box the item was something completely different than what I ordered.
I submitted a return and sent the item back to Amazon. Then I got an email saying they could not issue a refund because the item I returned was not the item I had ordered. Well no sht Amazon...that was the whole problem.
So then I tried called and ended up in Ai hell. The ai could not understand the unique issue I had so it couldn't offer any possible solutions.
I finally just gave up and just ate the loss. Luckily it was not an expensive item.
