That was the claim... but like other claims it was shown to be false well before this event. Like the "truck" not being able to handle small hills (really small piles of dirt), snow, mud, etc.

Nobody in America voted for AI.
Nobody in America voted for surveillance capitalism.
The entire fabric of our society is being changed without the will of the people.
Without a vote.
There is a lot to be said about this because it's not wrong.
It's also not wrong to admit that there is a disadvantage to losing the technology race internationally.
I don't see it slowing down, because national security is an easy argument for them to make.
But something has to be done, and communities will suffer if they don't have a say.
