You are the one who brought it up in this thread.

I stand corrected, i brought it up as an example of being against something because of who brought it up, not the substance.

I figured who could be against healthier meals for kids. Silly me, who knew...

China is in the drivers seat of the AI buildout because they have the ability to provide enough power to whatever they build. There is a race to be the world leaders in AI computation services and they are winning. As a country they don't want the USA building any more data centers. If Musk makes them in space, at scale and low cost, the USA is back in drivers seat.

You still are missing the point. No one is against healthy OPTIONS for kids.

Once they fixed the mandatory part of the program it was much better.

Getting rid of soda machines and ack machines full of candy and chips had been a good thing.

The massive waste was not.

You continue to deny you were wrong. You are still pretending the difference between coercion and optional was not made clear.

You are not innocent, right, or deserving of any slack here, FLBear. You need to take the loss and move on, insults from you now just make you look even more petty and spiteful.

Why does Polymarket not reveal the source and/or link the study?
It would be helpful to know if it is a study initiated by Xi or a study initiated by Trump, or whomever. Not to mention being able to see the AI responses/actions that determined how they were placed.

What do you think "I stand corrected" means...

He was right that I introduced it responding to you.

As for the rest, what loss???? What world do you live in that a discussion, opinion or point of view is a win and a loss? Think about that. We were discussing school lunches and the requiring fruits and veggies, you view that as a win and loss situation? Geez, Dude mellow out.

It would be helpful to know if it is a study initiated by Xi or a study initiated by Trump, or whomever. Not to mention being able to see the AI responses/actions that determined how they were placed.

Polymarket does that a lot. I think they are often just going for engagement. Occasionally they will have the study linked in the first comment.

When I want more info or context I will plug the text of the tweet into Claude and usually it can find out exactly where it's coming from.

Here's what it said about this one:

The tweet is referencing a project called aipolcom.net ("AI Models Political Compass"), which ran 50 AI models through the standard 62-question politicalcompass.org test. Nearly every model 48 of 50 landed in the left-libertarian quadrant, with the exception of xAI's two Grok models, which landed right-libertarian.

A few details from the write-up that add context:

The clustering held up under scrutiny repeated runs of the same model landed close together.
Claude Fable 5 scored slightly less left/libertarian when accessed outside the API (e.g., via claude.ai or Kagi) than through the API itself, though the direction was consistent.
When they reran the test with five runs per model instead of one, most models barely moved (median shift ~0.8 units), but Grok 4.3 shifted dramatically about 8 units landing at or right of center across all five fresh runs versus one earlier single run that had been left-libertarian. This suggests Grok's placement is more volatile/inconsistent than other models.

Worth noting: this is one of several similar studies floating around this year (Promptfoo, Unslop.run, "The Neutrality Project," etc.) with overlapping but not identical methodologies and results some find Grok closer to neutral rather than solidly right-libertarian, and results vary by exact test and prompting approach. If you want, I can pull up the aipolcom.net site directly for the full methodology.

Depends on how many robots it's for. $2 million for each one is pricey. $2 million for 1,000 robots ($2,000 each) is not too bad if they work effectively and without problems. I'd also have issues if they were imported from China.

The real number is probably somewhere in between.

I would think the cost would be a couple grand above a fancy electric riding mower, which is about 6-8k

Sounds about right. I was thinking around 10k but I'm guessing. And if the govt is involved we can expect the price to double or triple. Lots of people want their kickbacks!
