Where is the outrage? This is right from the Nikki Haley Neo-Com playbook. "Cheney" is beaming. Trump is one of us... Neo-Com globalist...

Why do you pretend not to comprehend the immediate threat to US strategic interests if Iran successfully produced hydrogen bombs.
I am all for it. But, I am a Neo-Con. Remember? I was also for selling weapons to Ukraine. And believe us being in Korea and Japan is in our strategic interest.

How is this any different? A foreign nation gets invaded. We form a international coalition. And we use the military in the Middle East.

The MAGA folks need to come to the realization that Trump is no different than any other politician and played them. He has raised the deficit with his budget, is taking part in a foreign war, and tied the US Treasury to crypto.

I personally agree with helping Israel, but I also didn't make it part of my election that we would not get in foreign wars and that I was different than the Neo-Cons. HE ISN'T. Every action he has taken has shown him not to be what he claims. Don't listen to the rhetoric, look at what he is doing.
He's never been against bombing Iran, he's been pretty clear. I don't think anyone got played here.

So, we are not in a foreign war? Israel and Iran are not at war and we didn't assist?

If Biden or Obama said that you would be going nuts.

But, it is Donald. He can do anything and you will support him. Even shoot someone on 5th Ave.

So this all about you and your hurt feelings ?

No, it is about this Board justifying for who they like and railing on who they don't. The actually policy or action doesn't matter.

What happened to no foreign wars? Keep changing the definition to fit what you want to believe.

Iraq definitely had chemical weapons and they definitely used them on the Kurds.

They also had a nuclear weapons program until Israel destroyed it.

They also staged SAM sites on top of (empty) children's hospitals which we proceeded to turn in to dust so they could complain to the world media that we committed war crimes against children. My dad and his team worked on that intel for weeks. He was beyond pissed when American news outlets were running with that story.

They had neither a chemical nor a nuclear weapons program at the time of the invasion.

Very few people seriously argue the invasion was justified. I'm shocked people here are. However, Iraq having chemical weapons was plausible.

Not really, but plausible or not, we now know they didn't.

I am not sure what all the fuss was about. The whole thing from beginning to end was a mostly peaceful bombing run.

We will wait until tomorrow for them to tell us what to think. Whatever it is, it will be pro-Donald.

The propaganda and attacks against those that disagree with this Administration is unreal.

Massey is now out of MAGA.

I remember still the weapons storage satellite pictures. It was plausible, and they had used chemical weapons before.

There are worse ways we could have gone about this, that's for sure. I still think a lot of the Iranian response is posturing. They're not as mad as they are pretending.

$6 billion was just the cost to fuel the bombers and massive escorts who accompanied them.

Googled "Cost of MOAB bombs"
AI overview returned this...

Quote:

The Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb, officially known as the GBU-43/B, has a unit cost of approximately $170,000, based on Air Force estimates from the mid-2000s.

Key points about the cost:

In-house production: The Air Force manufactured the MOAB "in-house" using existing parts, rather than contracting with third-party companies, which impacts the overall cost calculation.

Estimated development cost: Some sources suggest the total development cost for the 20 MOAB bombs held by the US military was around $314 million. However, the Air Force hasn't confirmed this figure, and the development process was considered a "crash project" rather than a formal program, making precise cost estimation difficult.

Historical unit cost: The $170,000 figure is a historical estimate and doesn't fully account for factors like development costs or potential future production costs due to inflation or design changes.
Purpose: The MOAB was designed to create a massive blast wave for damaging underground facilities and tunnels, a specific tactical role that influenced its development and cost.

314 million development cost / 20 MOABs = 15.7 million per Moab development cost then add production cost which may or may not be $170,000 per.

Anyway 6 bllion seems high but you know... government accounting so who knows
