You can give notice to renters they need to pay up in 5 days
If they don't you file eviction w court
Here's kicker: IF renter can't prove lost income due to COVID you can evict. AND ..... renter has to bring all due rent to date to court before judge hears anything from them. If renter can't bring ALL late rent due to court then all excuses are null and eviction goes through
Result is deadbeat renter is gone
That's mostly good, though I have a problem with a citizen being denied their day in court because of a lack of funds.
I suspect you have simply misinterpreted what is actually going on as an eviction case can be won on other grounds than bringing the rent current.
