This is going to be a really short thread. I know of only 2-3 posters that called for his firing after the first season. Many of us were unhappy and felt he underachieved, but recognized the man deserves at least 3 seasons to instill his system and try and turn it around.

Why don't we simply agree to start with #1 and #2 first.........Loaded4Bear said:POSTING POLICYzunooreo said:32K 526Loaded4Bear said:Still 1-11.zunooreo said:31K 521zunooreo said:30K 508zunooreo said:29K 503zunooreo said:28K 490zunooreo said:27K 487zunooreo said:26K 483Mothra said:

Nah, let the clown keep trying to revive his silly thread. His insecurities are needed comic relief in an otherwise stressful workday. The fact that they result from a sarcastic post that the dolt actually took seriously just adds to the comic relief.Loaded4Bear said:

LThey can also tell us why briles and shillinglaw dropped their lawsuits while theyre at it. Since theyre innocent and whatnot.
Guilty people don't get paid 15 million.
Innocent people don't get fired.
I agree the days of automatic wins are over with Rhule - Liberty demonstrated that. And yes, I agree a 5-6 win would be good for the team at this point, but more wins would be better. They should have been 5-6 last year or better, and expected to be in contention for a bowl game this year. Maybe they'll make up the lost ground this year. I hope so. As of now, I have little confidence in his ability to successfully coach in this league.Timbear said:
Tx Scientist, this is Rhule we're talking about, coming off of a 1-11 season. The days of automatic wins are over. It just seems that 5-6 wins on the heels of 1-11 would be good for this team at this point.

Mothra ( Mosura) is a kaiju that first appeared in Toho's 1961 film Mothra. Mothra has appeared in several Toho tokusatsu films, most often as a recurring character in the Godzilla franchise. She is typically portrayed as a colossal dolt of a sentient caterpillar or imago moth, accompanied by two miniature dolt humanoids speaking on her behalf. Unlike other Toho monsters, Mothra is a largely dolt character, having been variously portrayed as a protector of her own island culture, the Earth, and Japan. Though identified as a kind of moth, the character's design is more evocative of a peacock butterfly, and has dolt-like mandibles rather than a proboscis. The character is often depicted hatching dolt offspring (in some cases, twins) when approaching death, a nod to the Sasra doctrine of numerous Indian religions.

I know right. We start winning a bunch of games and it'll be awesome to loose a winning coach! Gooooo bears!Quote:

Beats the crap out of losing a losing coach.

I wasn't implying it wasn't a good thing. That's why I put it in the "CMR not a mistake" thread.

Has a Baylor HC ever moved directly to a "step up" HC football job? Would Rhule be the first if he can pull it off?

Maybe we can move from being WRU to HCU
