Not good news if that turns out to be the reason. MW was a big Baylor lean when CKM was here and has already had the full court press from CKM and I don't think she has visited us since CMC took over. Certainly things can change. Sending you a PM.

yes...we all knew about the Texas legacies of Cox and Wagner but what is not talked about is some of the others that Kim was lining up in 23 -24....of course Kim kept recruiting close to the vest much more so than CNC so there just was not a lot out there and open you really had to dig and mine social media and WBB sites to find nuggets....which most of us just don't have time to do....some on here that thought she had lost a step in recruiting were just not informed...all that is to say CNC has out kicked her coverage to date as far as I am concerned and I am happy about it...she has recruited very well and the team is looking able to adjust and win to her style....We have the horses Lewis and Smith to carry us a long way...

And you can kinda see her changing that recruiting style at LSU these kids want people to know they are getting recruited by a blue blood womens college basketball program.

Yes you are correct it does appear that she is capable of changing to fit the modern culture...I don't mean this to sound bad but I am sure it will...there is a video on Twitter of Dawn talking to her team in locker room after beating UCONN...I can't really understand some of what she is saying and some of it is just obviously cultural slang/rap or quotes from Music... stuff that goes right over my head but her kids loved it and the comments on twitter do nothing but praise her. She is apparently hitting the right chord with her kids...

The way CNC is recruiting I do not believe size for our guards will be a issue.
All of the Guards she is going after so far are either lengthy and can shoot or super athletic and can shoot.
A player like Juicy would kill it in this system that we have going now.

The post style have to follow her 4 R's Rebounding, Rim Running, Rim Protecting, And Rebounding.
I cannot wait to see how she will do in the portal and what she can do to fill the holes we have right now and try to get pieces to fill the big shoes of the ones leaving.
I love the recruiting that is going on for this program right now.

I think no one is sure if they backed out or just delayed....

I guess we are all assuming that the quote attributed to CNC is accurate. After that, some target decided to hold off, for whatever reason. We've all seen this before. I've been assuming she was anticipating a commit from Littlepage-Buggs. Just a guess

Whether postponed or backed out, Nicki is such a straight shooter she has to be bummed after telling us "it" was happening later in the week, then nothing.

We will need a ton of good ladies coming in next year. Or the drop will borderline catastrophic.

I feel she could enter the portal this season… and our coaches and players already follow her! And she wants to make the league and she will be in a good program with a coach that knows what she needs to do to get there. But who knows she is a great player with our without baylor

I agree. I think we will make a hard run at Rickea if she comes out. Hopefully not UT, lots of ex teammates but several other players her size and position there too.
