The worlds most moral army is just indiscriminately murdering women and children.
AF Post... really?
Why not just retweet something from the National Inquirer?
The AF Post is famous for posting BS, lies and propaganda. It is totally unreliable.
I agree this is obvious fake news. When the IDF wants to use civilians for target practice, they clearly don't wait for anyone's orders.
When did the Generations flip from rooting for America and our Allies to rooting against?? My liberal daughter and fianc that live in Boston are over and they seem to want American to fail. A group on this Board, seem to want America's enemies to succeed, be it Russia, Palestinians, China, Iran, geez they even defended North Korea before. I don't get it...
That idea is so foreign to me, I just don't get it. You take the good with the bad, there are always things that don't go your way, so you root against your Country and their allies? But than again, seeing Iraqi trucks loaded with Kuwait's medical equipment (MRIs, CAD scanners, etc...) and the oil fires they set sort of made an impression on just how bad these people can be.
So far, our three young adult kids have resisted that urge. But all 3 say it is college and what dominates social media. We've gone from (admittedly) probably too pro-America in education and media, to more objective, to now giving everyone the benefit of the doubt except America and the free world.
I don't think it's actually possible to be too pro American.
That's part of the problem. Anti-American leftists have convinced people that nationalism is bad. They don't want strong nations, they want a one world government. It's their only hope to defeat America.
I hear you. And this wasn't the case with me at all, but I've heard a number of folks say they weren't taught about things like slavery, Great Depression, internment camps, Native American treatment, etc. Everything should be taught but also in context.
Totally agree.
Everything should be taught in context and in truth.
Example, native American treatment.
There were many tribes who were peaceful farmers when the colonists arrived. Most of them welcomed the colonists because they could provide real protection from the raiding tribes. Most of these peaceful tribes are lost in history because they freely accepted civilization and the benefits & protections of becoming a citizen. This is true for the tribes that integrated into English society, French, Spanish, Dutch and later American society.
The ones we all know about are three violent, aggressive tribes. These are the tribes that were attacking, pillaging and enslaving the more peaceful tribes.
The ones who ended up in reservations are the violent tribes, but modern historians try to claim that the Cherokee, Apache, Kiowa, Sioux, etc were all peaceful people living in harmony with nature. What a load of BS.
The peaceful tribes never needed a reservation because they embraced civility and modernity. They blended into society rather than clinging to violent, caveman values.
These are the truths that you will never hear in a modern history class.
These truths give a lot more context as to why the reservation system was created.
