Mullah terrorists with a long track record of threatening and harming not just their Zionist foils but also US citizens, in Iran and around the Middle East and the US. Also, more reason to be worried about Iran's long-term desire to develop nukes. Also, some reason to think the Persians have a deeper bench of options behind this regime than Iraq had behind Saddam. Still, if the Mullahs would give up their nuclear chase and show their cards, fine, we are all good. We can keep sparing them the ass kicking they've been begging for the last few decades. But if they won't, you can only make that mistake in one direction. We can live with a false positive. Can't live with a false negative. That combined with Israel as your dog of war ... about as good a combo as you're going to get. Take out the Mullahs' nuclear assets (which also requires taking out most of the rest of their military assets). Whatever happens next happens. Hopefully the Iranian people step up. Everytime the US has gotten involved in a Middle East war there has been a mass displacement of Muslim refugees into Europe and America.

A bit humorous you argue against the term as made-up, and then introduce made up terms (Paleocon?) in the post in which you're arguing against made up terms. And of course, as always, its the Jews responsible for everything (another commonality with the woke left).

I think there is a good argument to be made you guys share much in common: 1) an incalcitrant attitude, intolerant of any beliefs that diverge from your own, which often times leads to demonization of opponents; 2) a common hatred/strong dislike for Israel/Jews, and a shared belief they are responsible for many of the world's ills; 3) sympathetic toward Russia (though for different reasons); 4) an adoption of the "oppressor/oppressed" view of the world (with the federal govt. the number one oppressor of both): 5) a susceptibility to conspiracy theories; and 6) a common belief that you suffer unfair disadvantages due to current societal structures and ideologies.

Those beliefs could describe both of the extremes of the political spectrum.

Quite familiar with the beginnings of the neo-con movement. One of the reasons I think Bush II will go down as one of the worst presidents in modern history. But like Wilson above, I am not pacifist or isolationist, as I think that also leads to dangerous policy.

I think the problem for a lot of you guys is there is no middle ground or happy medium. It's a set of binary choices in your book.
