Old enough to remember both, in addition to where I was when Kennedy was shot, etc. The Berlin Wall opening held special meaning, since I had heard so much about it going up from Dr. Loyal Gould, head of the journalism department during my Baylor days. He was the only American journalist on site for the first couple of days when it went up.historian said:
